Morning everyone.
I work Thanksgiving this year and looking forward to the holiday pay and to the free meal. 😋 I don't miss working in the kitchen and having to prep it all though. LOL!

I think I'm off Christmas and New Year's. What plans does everyone have for turkey day?

Looks like it's going to be a bit warmer here (as compared to last several days), for the next week or so and I don't know how I feel about it. I was complaining about the cold, but I'd also kind of accepted it.

.... We were both totally worn out, after that. Quick snacks and went to bed, this afternoon.

It was perfect outdoors, this morning. Cool, crisp, and refreshing. Clear blue sky.

Cardinals and other wild birds at the feeder, including an adorable, perky wren.

Delicious salmon which was on sale. 😃

But we were both out there, helping each other. To be there.

I'm still worn out from yesterday, but we're Okay.
Taking things slowly, though it seems like there's a lot of small things to get done, today here.

It looks still and quiet out the window, today. Haven't even seen birds at the feeder, which is very rare recently.

Ah thankfully, just as I finished that sentence, 4 goldfinches arrived. 😀☺️

They're not gold now. They have their winter drab jackets on, but I recognize them.😊😁😄😆

It's a nice afternoon here. It was pretty outside for the morning walk and Lucius was a good boy.

We are doing Dia de los Muertos a day late because of husband's schedule. I'm sharing stories with younger son and have left a Whatsapp audio for older son, a quick story about his grandma from when he was little. I'll probably do that a few more times today, with stories about the grand parents and our former Boxer, Howie. Older son and I raised him together so remembering him is especially bonding and poignant for us.

@Kaila, nice to hear you were feeling better yesterday, got some rest 👽 and enjoyed some really nice time with husband, outside. :cool:
I haven't seen our Goldfinches in a while. Maybe because they've changed and are not as flashy.

That's disappointing!

Yes it was a dark Grey cloudy day, all day today, here. Rains due soon, or possibly arrived already.

I'm glad we both got outdoors yesterday, dh and myself.

I felt poorly today, but a late nap and quick bath, helped to revive me.

I've got a doctor appointment , first thing in the morning. Too early, but thankfully close by.
 
Hey Kaila & Friends! I was dealing with an extremely stressful and expensive homeowner's nightmare yesterday, so didn't stop by here. Trying to come down off that anxiety mountain today. I wrote about it in the "what have you bought recently" thread so I won't rehash it here. Anyhow, I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm.

Our hockey team is playing tonight, but we usually watch the games on replay (which is why I never mention which hockey team... just in case. ) ;) Maybe there's a home team game, or we'll play cards again. PBR is finished for now, but we could watch some on Youtube, I suppose. LOL! I decided to contemplate this what-to-do-tonight question whilst typing this note. :ROFLMAO:

Thank you, friend.
My appointment yesterday, was difficult but went okay. I had to go to pharmacy, after it, and I did not sleep well enough over last night.
I'm still doing poorly, this evening.🫤
