Never knew the name of the grass, just by sight.

I remember using st augustine grass…..

I do believe that was the one I preferred. Strong, slightly thicker and my Grandfather's
choice of lawn grass.

Started with that and moved on to something stronger. Now I'm back to the blade of grass.

Yeah, I remember that. In my adult years, I've taught kids how it's done. The custom must continue.

I tried with Eucalyptus leaves. Just like Sonny did to call Skippy.
I was never able to get any sound from them.
