Sorry to hear that Pepper, can you have someone advocate for you(if they haven't already)?
When I yell and make a fuss they do but next day it’s back to neglect so starts all over again.

Are you able to contact your primary doctor? Or is there a doctor that comes to see you there at all? If so I would be telling someone.
Also if there's a house supervisor in that hospital I'd be contacting them. Part of their job is to see to it patients are properly cared for.

Have decided would rather be dead than permanently lose my independence. Have decided living in a facility is not worth it@Pepper, I'm so sorry that you're suffering. The day when you're outta there surely can't come soon enough.

I have contacted everyone and was ignored. Especially worried blood sugar levels are three to four hundred which I know interferes with surgical wound healing

These days seem to go so fast..it doesn't get light until around 7.45 am.. and it's dark again at 4pm....
It's 5.30pm now and very dark , and cold.. 5 deg c
I'm going to make Mac & cheese for dinner shortly...with added chopped lambs' liver & bacon...
Tomorrow morning I have my weekly physio which has been changed from friday's to Mondays..to avoid the heavy friday traffic...
I can't believe we're already near the end of November, it's just shot past!

I HATE, HATE, HATE when delivery companies don't keep to their original schedules. They fail to realize that customers have lives, and we often deliberately time some purchases based on the estimated delivery window.I'm in a bit of a panic now... I ordered some large wardrobe units for the spare room, which currently holds other furniture and lots of boxes with stuff for sale on auction sites. i was told the delivery would be around the 2nd of december, so I thought I had time to try and get the room cleared in readiness for the delivery, .... but I just had a text from the company saying they;ll be delivering in the next 2 days...

we do discuss ealth issues on this thread..but some of the recent posts have had TMI. for a general chat thread which this is... ... talking about messing diapers etc, is not sutiable for a general chat thread and should be moved to the health thread for anyone wants to discuss issues like that!

Good afternoon, it is partly cloudy but warm. We went to McDonald's to get a hamburger for each of us and my word, it was packed. According to the news, fast food restaurants are not doing well. I guess maybe it is a little cheaper to buy from some fast food places.

My daily morning hike with Heidi 6 y/o and Rex 1 y/o.
Snow above 8,000 feet in the San Gabriel Mountains. At 14 months of age, Rex is learning what is taboo and what earns
him praise. He is already stronger than I am, and I have to use a special spike collar for a month to be able to control him.
I learnt my lesson: when Rex sees a rabbit and takes off, then I only end up kissing dirt. Especially when he surprises me.
On our hikes I am always on a lookout for coyotes................... San Bernardino Mountains

Contemplating starting a Moving Furniture thread, sort of like What Have You Bought Recently. Gonna make sure I only post about scones on the Food & Drinks thread and about playing in the dirt on the Home thread. Don't want to chance stepping on any toes. Jussayin'
Had to threaten and fuss force and push. Wednesday with at home services. DIL force to be reckoned with. Me too. Original agreement was only one week of Acute Care. Needed second week. Now they don’t want to let me go. EVER
First maybe Wednesday maybe Friday maybe never.
Wednesday is promised. We ll see or leave on my own.
