2025 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

First major snowstorm of the season. If I estimate correctly by looking at the accumulation on the deck railing, looks to be 7 to 8 inches so far. Storm warning in effect until 1am Wednesday. Shoveled once when it was already about 4 inches, but that will be 4 inches less when I shovel again.

It's chilly here in L.A. (Lower Alabama). Today was overcast and windy and it never got above 50 F. The low tomorrow morning is forecasted to be 35 F.

It finally stopped snowing! Looks like between 7 and 8 inches. Shoveled my driveway 3 times. I'm surprised I am not sore. The only muscle that has some mild discomfort is my right gluteal for some reason. Maybe because I am so sedentary that my muscles don't even recognize when they are being used. Sill overcast and 26F at the moment. The temp will plunge to near 0F Thursday night. Not much chance of snow until the middle of next week.

First Alert is for a winter mix of rain/snow for certain areas because a lot of people either don’t know how to drive in that kind of weather, or they’re arrogant enough to think that they can dare mother nature to get out of their way, and that usually has a bad ending.

A roller coaster day. Started off very darkly overcast, but the sun came out around 10:30am. Them a mix of sun and clouds, but very windy. Driving home from delivering meals, there was a 15 minute snow squall. Now the sun is out again. Very cold night predicted.

Full. Fledged. Winter! Lots of snow and temps down to 0F. So I now focus on Holidays, indoor projects, and getting back on Ancestry.com after Christmas for a few months. Before I know it, Spring will be here.

And hopefully some ice fishing if not too much snow. Or lots of shoveling and snow blowing!
