The best thing so far today is that husband is off and we're going to watch hockey tonight! Yay!

The best thing yesterday really was great because our hockey team won! Woot! 
And, boyfriend's other favorite football team won their match today.
I know these are small things, but I'm all for gathering up all the goods things, big and small.
ETA: And, and, the first migraine pill I took vanquished yesterday's oncoming migraine. So, yay for that too!

My son surprised with a (used to be pint) of rum raisin Haagen Daz, my favorite.
Once in a blue moon, I love having some vanilla bean Haagen Daz, my favorite.

The best thing yesterday was probably watching hockey with husband. It was kind of a rough day with fatigue and body pain, but time watching hockey with husband is always nice.
Our team didn't win and I can't say we tied because, technically, there are no ties in hockey anymore, even though the "losing" team gets a point for the "tie." It's weird, but I love the game so...

There were two best things. My son surprised me with a container of Haagen Daz ice cream. And I laid down two tracks for his latest music project that he is extremely pleased with. I hadn't heard it before so I'm very happy that I could come up with something he loved.

The best thing to happen to me today was the last Physiotherapy appointment for the year..yeaahhh!
I hate that drive down to the clinic , it's in a back street just off the busiest traffic junction, in a narrow street where parking is almost impossible.. so I'm pleased not to have to go there again for a while

The best thing to happen to me today was that I got in a small fender bender in the parking lot with a fellow resident—but the damage was virtually nil, and an exchange of information was deemed unnecessary. It could have been much worse!

Had a MRI on that mysterious wrist pain. AI translated the medical results talk which we get to see as soon as it's available, do not have to wait for MD.
Mild sprain of a tendon and a bone bruise. And no weird alarming stuff.

My favorite Haagen Daz flavor is rum raisin which he usually brings, my second favorite is vanilla (not vanilla bean). Apparently they were out of both of those so he brought Dulce de Leche, which I had texted on my shopping list the week before as my third choice. As much as I love Haagen Daz, I never liked coffee ice cream. That was the only HD flavor they had left last time I went shopping at the supermarket I walk to.
The best thing to happen to me today is that the landscaper came by and replaced all the flowers in our pots in the courtyard and out front. The previous flowers were doing okay, since we've had a mild winter, but they were getting long in the tooth. We've gotten down into the 30's at night and the Mexican Heathers were still blooming.
Now we have ornamental cabbage and kale, flanked by purple and yellow pansies. I had just changed the pillows on the outdoor furniture yesterday to something more suited to winter, so it was like he was reading my mind!

The best thing to happen to me today was getting the Carcinomas cut out by the surgeon... and the next best thing was discovering that the pain once the anaesthetic wore off wasn't /isn't as bad as they warned me it would be....

It must have been my lucky day yesterday because I took my eldest son, who is visiting me from Melbourne, out for a breakfast.
When we were finished, I wanted to pay so I went up to the cashier with the bill, and she said a lady before me had already paid
for my bill which came to $28.00. I was shocked. Another lady paid $25.00 for my petrol bill some months ago. There are some lovely people in the world.
