I miss the old game console Intellivison, we had some wonderful times with those games. It came out in 1979.
Is there a piece of ‘outdated’ technology you still miss?

No - - - I'm tired of technology replacing everything I fnd useful. I need a simple leather holder for a notepad and pen similar to the one pictured, which used to be common, and can no longer be found in any office supply store I've visited over the past year, and I not want to order simple items like this online.

I can still hear the sound of putting one in the player...and the feel of it. Kinda miss 8-tracks. That's really weird of me, I know, because I always hated the mess when they unraveled.

Technology? Maybe not quite, but I miss the original Netflix. No question, Netflix is a mighty conglomerate, and made itself rich. Yay for them, but I miss the ability to watch almost any film ever made, which Netflix built it's reputation on. Today, I can watch Netflix for three weeks before I run out of anything interesting.

Had an 8-track player in my car, along with a piece of bright orange shag carpet in my rear view area. Boy, I thought I was something. I was some . . . Thing alright!

The electric steam iron. I miss the days of ironing my shirts, pants, socks, and even my sheets. It was a jolt of joy to spray some clothing with starch. I had the radio on listening to music or a good baseball game. Good times.

I actually miss them shipping the DVD;s. I stream all the time now and I do enjoy the higher video quality but I miss the wider variety of options of selecting shows and movies back then.
When I was going to grade school and high school , I used my dad's IBS Selectric typewriter to type reports for school. Sometimes I think it would be easier to use that instead of using Docs and my printer to do the same now. I know I am probably just waxing nostalgia though.

I liked those too, @MarkinPhx . Specifically the Correcting Selectric. Trying to print file folder labels using a computer is a major pain and not worth the effort.
Agreed ! I do love the speed of the internet now but one plus of the dial up days is there was less intrusion of ads, cookies and all the visual and video bloatware on each webpage.

I miss post WW2 international shortwave broadcasting. In the 40s through 70s many nations had powerful stations broadcasting on short wave frequencies. There was always something interesting to listen to.

I have several old MP3 players - a Sony Walkman, a SanDisk Clip and a tiny iPod. I still use them sometimes. The SanDisk clips onto your clothing or bag etc. They are great for the gym and travelling.

That was my first foray too. Bought mine at Best Buy. I wish they still made them.
You could look at anything and never get a virus. Just unplug it and it would reset.
I shouldnt admit this but I still have mine in the back of some closet.
I miss my big old original big c-band satellite dish. We got it back in the 1980's.
It was fun while it lasted. Then the stations started charging and blocking their feeds.

Back in the day I had a Trio KA1500 amp, coupled to a pair of Bose 301 speakers. Brilliant analogue sound, very clean, and very powerful as well.

Well, believe it or not, I miss the dial (rotary) phone! There is something satisfying about rotating the dial for each number clockwise to its stop, and then watching and hearing it spring back. Sure it's slow, but so what?

I forgot about the BUD. I had mine right up until they didn't support C-Band anymore. I haven't been able to watch any Canadian tv since. I used to hunt down a lot of wild feeds too.
