There are just too many people swallowing hangers these days, even with the warning label telling them not to. Hence, the illustration needed to be added.

Absolutely. Actually, hangers should be banned altogether. A friend of a friend's uncle twice removed had a very nasty accident with a hanger.

The sad part about these warning labels is that they became necessary after someone did exactly that, involving litigation, likely payouts or settlements, and a whole lotta trouble. So to protect themselves the manufacturers are forced to put these warning labels on products.
I bought an iron recently. The warning labels advised against using the iron in water, and take clothes off before ironing.

These are hilarious. Part of the reason for these ridiculous instructions is that they are probably either made up by A-I or humans whose English is not very good, and then slapped on the products without anyone who understands the subtleties bothering to check them first.
The hair dryer one should probably say: Do not use if there is a possibilty that you might fall asleep.

Decades ago a Dutch guy wrote a book. One part was about him trying to install a door for his cat. The instructions were so crazy and hilarious. Cat door lock cat door. Not one normal sentence in Dutch. He said: Some cat must have said: hey my aunt is English. She'll translate that. He ended up making it at the wrong side first (the upper part of the door). When it was finally okay the cat refused to use it and only the dog stuck his head though it.
