Do you want to watch a news retrospective on 2025?

I've been seeing various channels advertising retrospectives on 2025. I personally have no desire to take that trip down memory lane. I don't think 2025 has been a particularly good year from a news standpoint. What say you?

Nope I don't want to watch it... this has not only been a horrible year for me personally, but the UK as a whole, has suffered badly too.... so no, I don't need reminding...

Nope. I'm so sick of how no matter who'd be compiling the retrospective, it would have their own slant. There's so much garbage/lies/AI created ridiculousness posing as news that I just block it out of my head and research on my own when I need to find something out. The most annoying part is that "the creators" of these things think people are so stupid that they'll just buy it all as truth.

No, because I lost two people that I love very much so personally it’s been a very bad year. Unfortunately, our country has suffered greatly this year and I don’t see things getting any better so I certainly don’t want to be reminded of this year.

Watch gloom and doom all over again ….nah thanks ….it bad enough about the sad event of the recent Bondi massacre that's still several times a day …no it should not be forgotten …nor any other tragic world events

I may watch one tiny bit about a Sydney doctor who has a brain tumour , He was given a very short time to live after being told he had the tumour … ( about 2 years ago )

he’s been a volunteer Guinea pig having all sorts of treatment done in the hope it will save another life in the future
long after he’s left us …he’s such a nice man with a wife and teen age children

if he’s still alive in Jan ( Australia Day ) he should be awarded Australian of the year for his contribution of testing future cancer treatments ,

copied this bit

The 57-year-old was first diagnosed with the aggressive tumour in 2023, a cruel twist after spending his career dedicated to helping others survive their own cancer battles.

He developed the brain tumour after having melanoma
