Learning How To Live Life

I remember one New Years Eve I was at the local bar in my home town. I had drank my little malt duck grape flavored beers all night. I had a pint of JD for the after the bar closed. Drank it straight...(no clue how cuz I hate that straight hard liquor)...took it with me everywhere including the bathroom.

Drank the whole pint myself. Started walking home (about 12 blocks away) and went to quick shop and had a cup of hot chocolate and that's when the party ended & ended up in a nice large porcelain bowl. One of the local cops drove me home. LOL!

To this day even the smell of Jack Daniels is enuff to make me...

A new years cautionary tale brought to you by the makers of No Hangover Cure For You!

Well, since it's NYE, I imagine there will be a bevy of drunks and cops in the ER tonight. Should provide me with plenty of entertainment. As long as nobody barfs on the floor everyone will be safe from the wrath of the housekeeper. 😉😏

In the kitchen, dining room and bedroom I'm wearing clothes I made in game. I tend to spend a lot of time in this game designing my island the way I want it. I have some ideas rolling around but not sure how much space there will be for all of them. I can make extra profiles and put more houses on my island and turn them into things like cafes and offices and what have you.

However finding a pink theme for everything is a little tougher to do. This game literally got me through covid and the lockdowns back in 2020.
Your island, house and designs are amaze! Such attention to detail. Little teddy bear dress is so cute and I love all your pink. 🤗

My island is fairly new and I haven't picked up my Switch in weeks. I'm dreading the weeds and flack I'm going to get from my villagers. 😅

Mine were ticked cuz I was gone 3 months. The only things happy to see me were the roaches.

I can't take my mask off in ER today at all. It's germstock in there today.

Staff sick, covid and droplet rooms. One droplet room is open cuz there's a camera on the patient and a tech that is sick was in there with no mask.

Wish I had a hazmat suit.

Are you wearing a different type?
The level 1 is the little thin masks. I wear those in the summer so I don't suffocate. In cooler months when flu season and stuff get going i wear a level 3 which is 4 ply. They won't let us wear cloth ones anymore.

The N95s offer the best protection but I can only tolerate them for short amounts of time.

If I wore one all day I'd hafta keep pulling it down to avoid oxygen hunger which could lead to COPD exacerbation.

Good fun to be had here. Lmao

That is similar to what I would have guessed.
Thanks for explaining what you do!

I think that not getting any closer to others than you must, helps some too.
That sometimes is hard to do as well, but I know you do it as much as possible and reasonable.

I hope you will not get sick with any of the contagions, this week and this season.

So far so good. 🤞

I am so angry tonight. We have two FT ER housekeepers. One day shift and me on night shift. Everyone else that cleans when we're not here are called floaters.

They're all trained and know what to do but generally they do trash and dash and don't clean and leave the unit a disgusting mess.

Today was no exception. I've run my a$$ off since I got here today and spent a lot of time doing day shifts crap on his side. He didn't pull hardly any trash or clean any of the bathrooms.

They kept calling me to come do the stuff he didn't do. I won't have time to finish my stuff and right now I don't care.

They won't dust or change out paper products unless asked to. They won't get down and clean the dust and blood and whatever else off the beds. They usually don't mop.

And they get away with it. If I say anything there's always an excuse for them. But not for me. I would get wrote up.
The unit was so gross tonight. I just couldn't believe it. But the boss doesn't care.

She'd sooner fire me and keep the "special" people that don't clean anything. I don't understand it at all.

Sucks how unfair things can be, especially in the working environment. :(

See you after your break. 🤗
