James Is my all time favourite ...I worked with him a couple of times when he was appearing on TV shows here...and my X worked with him for a lot of his concerts for TV.. X even went drinking with himJames Taylor's Greatest Hits was a favorite album of mine back in high school.
I find that listening to covers helps me appreciate the originals all over again instead of them becoming too familiar.
But then again I love Alison Krauss. We're soul mates but she doesn't know I exist so there's that.
I suspected that you had personal experience with him by the enthusiasm in your post.James Is my all time favourite ...I worked with him a couple of times when he was appearing on TV shows here...and my X worked with him for a lot of his concerts for TV.. X even went driniking with him
This band, LindisFarne, has a really good sound in the studio.
I agree...of course they were basically a 70's band essentially in the UK.. a Northern English band.... and they never ally reached heady heights of the charts except for Fog on the tyne, Meet me on the Corner and Run for home back 50 years ago....they sold records rather than had big live concerts..This band, LindisFarne, has a really good sound in the studio.
I watched a live performance of Meet Me On The Corner and it wasn't as impressive as the studio.
50 years will do that to you. They're all old now...
Smeone uploaded this 4 days ago where you are, but it's been available for at least 3 years because I have it on my youtube favourites I love this video..My favorite scene from Help! It wasn't available in 2025. This is just 3 days old.
I tried to find it just a few weeks ago and what came up were strangely editted versions.Smeone uploaded this 4 days ago where you are, but it's been available for at least 3 years because I have it on my youtube favourites I love this video..
starnge isn't it ?.. however the beatles, mainly MaCartney.. and lennons' wido Yoko Ono consistently refused for many years , any Beatles videos to be uploaded to youtube.. and it's only relatively recently we've got these really high quality videos... so I don't know what deal was agreed, but they're among the best quality Videos on Youtube, given that they're 60 years old on average...I tried to find it just a few weeks ago and what came up were strangely editted versions.
Not the scene as originally presented in the film. I couldn't believe all the alternate videos. I wondered if it was copyrighted and content creators were prevented from using it.
But then yesterday, there it was calling to me. So I embraced it figuratively and thought, "Now, was that so hard?"
That Get Back film made from Let It Be unseen footage was incredible.starnge isn't it ?.. however the beatles, mainly MaCartney.. and lennons' wido Yoko Ono consistently refused for many years , any Beatles videos to be uploaded to youtube.. and it's only relatively recently we've got these really high quality videos... so I don't know what deal was agreed, but they're among the best quality Videos on Youtube, given that they're 60 years old on average...
