What songs get on your last nerve ??

This... What a dirge..😩.I can't hate this any more than I do
😁 I'm with you, @hollydolly—I do not see the appeal of that song. Very dreary.

Speaking of Paul McCartney, "Wonderful Christmastime" is one that gets on my last nerve. I loathe it. My older daughter and I jokingly argue each holiday season. I vastly prefer John's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)," which she does not like.

I still have the original ''Happy Christmas war is over'' that I bought when it was in the charts when I was a teen.. and it was one of the first colour 45's... this is it...John Lennon green record.jpg

That song with the guy crying, what did you think I would do at that moment when I found out you were cheating, did you think I would raise my hand against you, no I would beg beg beg for you to come back to me.

What a loser.

I just can't stand this woman's voice or her vocal intonations on this song.
Also the way she pronounces some words in this song is just strange.
Haven't listened to any of her other songs. Can't get past this one.
Gets on my last nerve ;)

You don' like her because she isn't singing, she wailing and there isn't one word I could understand. If that's singing times have sure changed.

I remember when Gary Brolsma sang the Numa Numa song in the first internationally viral video by some bloke singing in his bedroom. It came out on youtube around 2004. Everyone but me hated it.

Same with What Does the Fox Say -- I loved it but my family hated it.

I'm glad I'm not alone with "Mull of Kintyre." I was afraid to copy Holly's post of it for fear it would start up. I heard it first about a year ago and it tweaked something in my poor old brain and would not stop playing. I would wake up at night and there it would be. I kind of hate Paul for it. I hope he had a simply wonderful Christmas time over and over and over and over and over.

Della, I have hated that song since it was first released in the 70's.... every time it comes on the radio, I dash for the off button.... I hate it so much I really didn't want to post it from youtube on here...same with baker street... in case Youtbe keeps recommending it...:ROFLMAO:

.same with baker street
Oh yeah, I just played a few minutes of it and couldn't go on, I think it might be hitting the same ear nerve as M of M. I hadn't heard it in so long I had forgot all about it and probably never knew it's name. When I see "Baker Street," I think of this which I like:
