What songs get on your last nerve ??

I'm glad I'm not alone with "Mull of Kintyre." I was afraid to copy Holly's post of it for fear it would start up. I heard it first about a year ago and it tweaked something in my poor old brain and would not stop playing. I would wake up at night and there it would be. I kind of hate Paul for it. I hope he had a simply wonderful Christmas time over and over and over and over and over.
I also am glad to not be alone in my opinion of this song. I still can't believe it bested "She Loves You" on the UK charts. I find that mystifying.

My daughters used to like this one, which I personally think is one of the most annoying songs ever. It's not too bad until you get to 00:30, and then . . . Ugh.

so many come to mind cannot single one out. Usually there is always some song that is WAY over played to the point of me never wanting to hear again.
This year a radio station I listen in my car on way to work started Christmas songs day after Halloween ... seriously what is next labor day...
I used to like some Christmas songs now i feel the urge to slap anyone nearby

Rod Stewart - Maggie May. I was camping by myself in the Northern California coast woods back in the early 1970's and running short of supplies I walked out to the Highway 1 coast road and hitchhiked to the tiny town of Elk to stock up on food. Rod's tune Maggie May was on the car radio of the guy who gave me a lift.
I could not get the tune and lyrics out of my head for the next week. Over and over again I kept hearing it in my head. All alone in the forest the same lyrics kept coming into my head. Relentlessly.
Ever since, decades later, when I hear it again I immediately push the power button to off.

She's a horrible litte brat..I know her from before she became famous.....ETA..she's not a big seller here.. she got her break into the celebrity world ... here..in the UK on the X Factor with Simon Cowell in 2010.. (I'm astounded to realise it was 16 years ago) where she finished 4th...... but she moved soon after to the US because the US market were the only ones buying her music...
