Introduction

Hello everybody. I'm visiting this senior forum for the first time. Introduction myself, 70-year old retired highschool teacher, Portuguese living in Portugal, married, active, curious and wanting to communicate with everyone who where some comun interests. I must say I want to inproove the written language too but that'sn the main reason of being here. I enjoy traveling and talking about travels, daily life, sports, different cultures, books, healthy matters.

Hello Oy. I live next to Lisbon, Cascais, 20 kilometres far, on the coast. Madeira is a lovely place but a bit crowded excess tourism. I've never been in Lancashire. In England I visited London for five or six times, Manchester when visiting Lake District, and Leicester, where my youngest boy has studied. Any comun interest you want to start communicating?

Cascais is lovely. We went for a day via train from Lisbon. If you went from Manchester to the Lake District you'd have gone through Lancashire. The Lake District is only 30min from us.

Hello hollydolly. What I enjoy that city. Is it your Hometown? My two boys have worked in London, the youngest has studied and graduated at Leicester university and when they were in London, we use to visit them, me and my wife, very often. Have some topic you want to talk about? You like travel?
