A Nice Walk ( with photos )

Lucius is with us 24/7 too, but that's not really a great feat as I don't go out a lot and there are three of us so someone is always here.

I remember once when husband had hurt is back (pinched nerve), we all three traveled to a medical facility and then traveled from there to a further away facility, forgetting in our worry, about poor Lucius at home. My son had to leave the facility and Uber home (two hours) to rescue Lucius! I still feel bad about that even though Lucius has long since forgotten, I know.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. That was an emergency. I’m sure if we had an emergency we’d do the same thing. You can tell by your posts Lucius is WELL CARED FOR. 🤗

We went to our regular pathway and there were no traces of anyone going through so we went to our next most popular place to walk and saw that it had been walked through so decided to get out and walk.

We are really impressed with our dog’s improvement. The difference is like chalk and cheese. Before she’d wait for someone to lift her up to the couch. Now she just jumps up on her own. On the trail she’s now racing well ahead of us while before she’d really lag behind in hopes that we’d turn around to go back. I’m so pleased. I’m definitely going to purchase some for myself.

We didn’t do the whole walk today. We did a partial walk and turned back around. It was blustery out today with intermittent snow squalls with wind coming from all directions.

I hope everyone is doing ok with this storm.

That looks like quite a bit of snow, and more than enough to make the walking thru it, twice the amount of extra exercise.

It's always nice to see how much you did get, and how the world looks from your path viewpoint. ☺️

That is amazing and wonderful, how well your dear doggie is doing. Great to hear, that the improvement has maintained itself!

Thank you, Patty. 🤗 Yeah, we love him and he's spoiled. Some things just stick with you though, you know? I know, I need to let it go; certainly, Lucius has. LOL!

It’s actually very easy to walk through which is why we come here. The excess snow is cleared away making trudging through snow unnecessary. Walking in the forest trails where we usually go IS difficult which is why we try and avoid those trails right after it’s snowed. We don’t want to be the first ones out there making a pathway. It’s hard work. lol

Thank you for noticing how well our dog is doing. We were very impressed with how well we were treated at the vets office and equally impressed with all the options we were given to help her out with. I’m hoping that through our experience others can learn about the amazing benefits of green lipped muscle powder. It’s only available from New Zealand which is why it’s probably so pricey.
 
Today we went to our in town walk since we needed to go shopping anyway. Plus now there’s a path made through the snow which was good. We met three people, two with a dog.

Today instead of walking the .4 kilometres to the car along the pathway , we went along the roadway making our walk a bit longer and a lot easier. Today we walked about 4 kilometres..

I'd be tempted to walk over that bridge, but probably wouldn't, in the end. What is covered in snow on top of that birdhouse, do you think?

I think there's a taller one on the other side of the tree trunk, with a much longer cape or dress:

Today we walked on our newfound paths again. It had snowed again on the weekend and we were pretty sure these path would be cleared and groomed and they were. We try not to go on the weekends cause that’s when all the motorized vehicles come out and sometimes there are big group of them.
