The day is going well here, so far. It's still above freezing today so maybe a bit more of the snow will melt (and never come back. I can dream.).

Husband is working a closing shift today and tomorrow, which I don't like because he still has a bit of a cough, poor guy. :/

Tonight I am planning on watching a hockey game with boyfriend --he'll be keeping me company over whatsapp, I mean. It's not a game featuring my team, but one I want to see because I like one of the teams and it would help our team if the opposing team in this game lost. That made sense, right? 🤨 There's a good chance of this happening because the team I like is at the top of the standing right now.

Anyway, it looks to be a good match up and as husband and I will have a few of our team's games backed up by Friday, he's happy for me to watch this one without him.

I am working on Valentines school exchange cards I want to get into the mail, watching Netflix and playing Animal Crossing. I'm visiting the clothes island, collecting all the clothes I want. :) That's one of the parts of the game I enjoy, the fashion. :)_

Hello, everyone, this Wednesday evening.☺️🥰🙂🥰😀🥰

We had some light snow showers, today, which were actually pretty as they fell softly,
and they reminded me of the many years and decades, that I truly did enjoy the snow.

Today's snow did not pile up at all. Which was good, for my present needs!

There's still huge piles everywhere, from the past storms we've recently had.

I managed to do 1 errand today, and countless small tasks, in our apartment,
which seemed like gigantic tasks,
but believe me, they weren't. 🤭🤗🙄😊
😁😄😆

We got a letter that our pharmacy is closing, which means we'll have to go through some confusing steps, in order to transfer everything to a different one.
Not looking forward to that. 😐

I'm thinking of all of you, this evening, and feeling thankful for you, here.

@Kaila - regarding change of pharmacy, I had to go through that a couple of years back. The pharmacy I used was so convenient, only a few minutes walk away. Now my son picks my prescriptions up for me. I could collect them myself at a pharmacy in town, a short bus ride away but I generally only go into town on a Saturday and they close on that day!

Bit of a windy day here, dry at the moment but rain forecast for later so I've been out with Rocco and am now waiting on my grocery delivery. I've just checked my emails and they have everything I ordered, so that's good.

Cold at 1 degree presently here but the sun is shining so should warm up some. I know what you mean about the countless tasks that build up and when I finally get to them they feel like big jobs. Funny how things we could do a few years ago now are so hard. I find doing them in little steps helps. I remind myself not to look back at what I used to be able to do but how much I actually got done today. Living in the present I guess.

I hope you and everyone else has a good day & keeps warm.

and good afternoon, to each one of you, as well,
on Thursday. 🤗☺️

My arms and hands are pretty miserable, from all of the movements I tried to use them for, yesterday...🙄
Both in the car, and at the 1 small grocery errand, and at home, for the series of small tasks. It's cumulative. Yikes.

Pam, that was interesting reading about when you had to change pharmacies.
Could your son pick up our scripts, when he gets yours?

As you wrote, our present one is the closest, plus has the drive through pickup window, where I could ask questions of the pharmacist, too.

Now I will have to go farther, plus the additional changes involved. It seems daunting at the moment.😵‍💫
They didn't give a lot of time notice, and I have other things to focus my time on, this month. But now there's that whole process. 😒

I'm going to try our grocery store pharmacy.

I surely did too much, overall, yesterday, so now I am not going to do much, today.

I'm not able to, and would just be digging myself into a deeper hole, if i tried.

It's frustrating .
I need to remind myself that while it's much less than I once was able to do;

It's actually significantly More than I was able to do, last winter. That was when I was in the hospital bed, and started this diary thread.

I actually did accomplish some things, yesterday,too.

So i will focus more on those 2 things, today, than on what I'm not able to be doing. 😊

Well, it's very cold again today, but the first dog walk with Lucius was still alright. Cept he's going through one of his pica phases and keeps trying to eat dirt, grass and wood. I get tired of saying, "drop it!" I carry pieces of dog biscuit with me to give him when (if) he drops whatever nasty thing he's trying to chew. :rolleyes:

He can't help it though, he's had pica since he was a tiny puppy. It's a result of his mother not having enough milk for all her puppies and Lucius having to be nursed by another mom, and Irish Setter, I think.

Husband has left for his closing shift (still coughing :( ), and I am watching the Winter Olympics with boyfriend at present.

It's a normal day, unfolding in the normal way, which is a good thing. :)

@Kaila, you have been productive! Bummer about your pharmacy; what a pain. Wise of you to work within your parameters and rest today. 🤗

Good morning, Kaila & Friends! I was undecided what to have with my coffee for breakfast... but now that I see that delicious-looking birthday cake that @PeppermintPatty was so kind to share, I think I'll have that!

Yes, that's very good to focus on what you *can* do, Kaila. And those of us who remember a year+ ago (when you wrote from the hospital) are very proud of what you've accomplished and continue to accomplish.

I'm predicting that Lucius will have to be missing some of his walks this weekend. @Medusa 's area generally gets the same weather I do, and wind chills will be -20 to -30.

I’m glad some of you are trying the cake and cake ce cream. It’s really good.
44 degrees doesn’t sound too cold to me also
In fact it sounds lovely. . We are about to go for our first walk today. Yesterday we went on our usual walk but only did half of it because we had to drive to Halifax to get our dogs their last vaccination. They w ere such good sports. Thank you for the birthday wishes Tim and Pam. Well I need to get ready to take our dogs for a walk. Talk later.

I went to p.t., this morning. Another Very worthwhile session.
Stopped to get cat foods, on the way home, arriving home , worn out and hungry.
I'm eating and having broth, and patting cat.....

Soon, will try for a nap.

Well, Rocco had his annual jabs but apparently was very nervous. Just glad it's all done for him. Of course I gave him a treat and he snuggled up to me for the afternoon.

Pleased your pt session went well @Kaila. Hope you managed a nice nap after having your broth as well and are generally feeling good. 🤗

It's now almost 8pm so time for me to settle down to some tele viewing. 📺
