Today Show host 84 year old mom is missing in Arizona-'concerning circumstances'

There's been activity in the Ransom Bitcoin account. TMZ has said they deposited less than $300. I don't know who 'They" are?....But, someone is digging in to the account.
FBI also did a lot of swabbing today...ie: pool guys, contractors, etc in the area.

I think this guy looks a lot like the guy in the ski mask...

He's out there, somewhere...

Thank ya', very much.
I thought he left the building.

The person I see in the video is a woman trying to appear as a man. Look at the eyes and the lips. Judging on how they carry their handgun, especially women, the person fits the profile of a cartel soldier, which many are women. I think more than one involved and Nancy is dead accounting for the blood. She was probably carried out by at least two people. I think the family saying they want her back to celebrate, indicates they know she is dead. The places the authorities are searching, indicates to me they are fairly certain she was killed in the house and the body disposed of somewhere in the area.

I think all the crucial info is being withheld from the public. The list of persons it takes to keep that size of house clean and repaired, is long. I see a well kept house, small lawn, cared for desert, and very clean pool. I think they have lots of possibilities and the kidnap was just a smoke screen to allow the ones involved to leave the area.

Nancy's house was recently reroofed and that glove looks like the kind they use on flat roofs to apply hot tar. I would hope they have questioned all that roof crew.

Hard to believe that in this day and age that they can’t find out more.
Hope this isn’t one of those cases where the kidnappers get away with it for fifty years and that they are 80 years old when it’s solved.
When I have seen shows where it took that long to find a killer and I feel like the killer got by with murder for 50 years that he got by with living his life free and that there isn’t any punishment that can possibly be enough.

Nothing about this makes any sense. …. the K-9 search is on her property now..
Living alone, about 70 miles from the border in a remote area, brings up so many thoughts. (And only small percent of border is actually closed off at this point.)

She had cameras (all smashed) and work staff (not there that evening)
A lot of security cameras send the video to the owners phone. I think that they have to get all of the information from the phone provider. At least that is the way ours work.
Both Ring and Blink cameras both send to apps on our phones.
Evidently none of her family had her security app on their phones.
We can be 500 miles away and myself or my wife can see what our cameras video while we are away from home.
I’m thinking now that it might be a good idea to see if we can connect to our grown children’s security systems and them to ours.

The live video stream gets uploaded temporarily to the cloud, which is how you're able to view it when you're 500 miles away. That's how it worked with Nancy Guthrie's camera, which is why they were able to recover the video from the "residual" data even though Guthrie didn't have a subscription.

The shared footage shows the person outside prior to entering the house so, at least one person entered through that door. Mrs Guthrie's blood was shown splattered on the ground outside that same door so, she must have exited the property through that door. Apparently there were several cameras. Why no footage showing how Mrs Guthrie left and who was with her?

It may be, of course, that the police do have footage but, for understandable reasons, are not sharing it or, perhaps all the cameras had been disabled by then and no further footage was found on the cloud?

Wonder if closing El Paso Airport has anything to do with this case? It was cloded overnight, for 10 days. …”security reasons"

A secret military laser-based anti-drone system prompted the Trump administration to ban air traffic for more than seven hours in and out of the Texas border city of El Paso after U.S. aviation officials raised drastic concerns about the safety of commercial air traffic.

DNA testing and other forensic advances really help compared to the situation 50 years ago.

I am worried about Nancy.

First, I am going on the assumption that there wasn't much blood on the porch. LEO didn't say the porch was awash with blood. The big thing here is that if someone bleeds out (which they do from time to time when they are murdered) the area is awash with blood.

Second, even if her meds are literally keeping her alive from day to day, by now not having them has generated two major problems. #1 is she could have a heart attack or a stroke from not taking her meds. #2 is the amount of stress and terror she is likely going through could also cause her to have a physical reaction that is not compatible with life. So I am worried that during this time she may have died and the kidnapper(s) dumped her body somewhere in Mexico.

I'm probably on similar medications to Nancy. I know I would not die if I didn't have my meds for a short time, like the typical 5 days I can't take them before surgery. I also firmly believe that my meds are keeping me alive.

Third, I am certain LEO knows more than we do. They always hold something important back. BUT no matter what they know, it doesn't seem to be providing a speedy resolution to this case. I think the biggest problem is that there are no super helpful clues.

Maybe they should send ICE to Mexico to help find her. They aren't concerned about being law-abiding, so they can get away with doing more than the FBI and police can. First, Nogales, Mexico.

Maybe, hopefully, they've put up drones over desert areas and other places where they would be helpful.

I am really concerned about her and I hope she is well. I keep visualizing her being found in pretty good shape, and taken to a hospital for a few days before returning home. If they catch the criminal(s), I hope they rot in prison.

This case is very strange. First her kids tell us that she can't live more than 24 hours without her meds. Then they, for days, say they believe she is alive and will pay ransom upon proof of life. Did the "kidnappers" get her meds and have medical training? I don't think so.

I think the person on the camera was part of a burglary ring, probably cartel connected, and when they demanded she open her safe, she refused and they probably hit her and that blow in her medical condition caused a heart attack. Her drops of blood could have easily come from a busted lip or bloodied nose. They say she couldn't walk far and so far no sign of her walking out of her house, so I believe she was carried. If not dead then, then later.

I think all involved are connected to someone on the crew that roofed her house. They knew she was old, lived alone, didn't have a guard dog, and had money.

That struck me as very odd, too.
