Yea, that does look like a bull dog...but it is the deer on the left...

I missed my walk entirely yesterday and today only went for a very short one. I also only took one picture. Unfortunately the walks with the nicest scenery are also the hardest to walk on. They aren’t groomed at all making it uneven terrain.

Today we walked on the new ATV path again. It hasn’t been groomed since the last snowfall but there are ATV tracks to help walk along.
It’s -1 degree and sunny. At least the sun was out. I only walked about 2 kilometres since the back of my ankle is still hurting. We didn’t see anybody while walking.
I took a couple of pictures plus one of the ocean.

Today we went back to the new atv trails because we knew they’d be groomed and sure enough they were. It snowed again last night so we got another few inches of snow.
We walked the same amount we did yesterday - a couple of kilometres. My foot can’t take much more . I wish I knew what I did to my foot so I’d know to avoid it in the future. We saw no other people today.
Here’s a couple of pictures.



On the way back home I took a picture of a church. I’ve always liked churches. It was 5 degrees today.

Today is nice and sunny so we went to the Celtic Trail for our walk. I wasn’t expecting to do my regular walk but definitely thought I’d get further than we did. My heel buckled again so we had to turn around and hobble back. I was not expecting that.

Here are some pictures though.


The ocean is all frozen on top.

Oddly enough the ocean on this side of the causeway is not frozen on top and I’m not sure why that is. Here is a boat in that water.

The other side was cleared of snow up until the first bridge. It looks like they replaced the entire bridge this winter.




We didn’t walk far today due to my injury. We walked about 2 kilos in total.



It was 0 degrees with blue skies and sunny. It was a nice walk.

Thanks Medusa. It does seem to be healing but every once in a while, I step down the wrong way and my heal tendons buckle which feels like they are doing somersaults. Then I feel like I’m right back to square one so it’s difficult to say but thanks for asking.

We only walked about 1 1/2 kilometres and only met one other person. He had a Shetland sheepdog. I asked if I could take and picture and he said sure.



On the way home I took a picture of the Highland Coo cows. They were altogether eating some hay.
