For The Love Of Dogs

I love my 'new' dog just wish I could take photos better - I had fed him early evening and left him on short lead on front verandah and lay me down to rest - I fell asleep and rested too long and when i awoke it was pitch black outside - there he was laying on the front mat not murmuring but once I open the front slider he shot in with a howl - did I feel guilty and had to give him extra treats to ease my conscience!! - his is colloquially classed as "pig dog" and breed from three different dog breeds which I can never remember - gentle as a lamb in doors but when confronting friend dogs outside very boisterous!!
 
This is Brody talking to his lady friend next door. He's still pretty hefty in this picture, but lost a lot of weight recently. Well, yesterday, my son and his lady friend had to send him over the Rainbow Bridge. He was 13 and 1/2. They are, of course devastated. I called him my gentle giant as he was just a sweetheart.
