Good morning Peeps of SF.... 🙋‍♀️

It's 8.45 am .. been up since the crack of dawn....... it's grey and cloudy looking out there, and I wouldn't be surprised if it rains.

I have an appointment later, so I have to go out whether it rains or not... and while I'm out hopefully I'll be able to get some fuel if the Garages haven't run out...

Have the best day you can folks... 🌼🌼

I am Sorry how other nations' fuel prices have sky rocketed in such a short time. That's all I have to say about that.

Morning all,on my early walk at 6:50 it was 'balmy' outside 57 which is above normal for this time of yr as I strolled around the building.I was breaking in my new pair of New Balance walking shoes which I bought yesterday at Kohl's dept store
My plans today, see what today's lunch& dinner menu is offering. This morning read yesterday's NYT,tackle the crossword puzzle. I started to do puzzle on line yesterday but gave up This afternoon at 1 going with 2 other residents in Gates van to local grocery store, Wegmans need a couple items I hope to get another walk in before the rain comes this afternoon
When I return, read today's NYT and tackle the crossword puzzle after dinner
Everybody have a good day

Good morning to everyone. It is sunny and will be 90 degrees today.

I was waiting for Amazon to deliver a complete set of Maverick TV series. My husband likes western shows and they are usually old ones now. We will be watching one of the shows today. They at least do not have cuss words in them like the more modern ones. We like James Arness, the star in the shows.

I hope all of you are well and have a nice day. :)

It's racing toards 3.45pm... I'm not long back.. just long enough to put things away, get changed and sit down with a cuppa tea...

It was really nice weather when I was out..people who came out unlike me dressed in coats must have regretted it I'm sure... because it felt really warm

As we came through the park which abuts the town car park I saw the daffodils all lined up in the slight breeze by the stream .. and ready to die back.. so the last photo of them for this year..

Oh I forgot to say...I managed to get Fuel at £1.37 per litre... £6.60 = $8.89 USD so I filled up my tank.. and filled a one gallon container as well..to put in the shed

However there was a long queue behind me so lots of people thinking they'd do the same ...

I've just come off the phone after having a call from my Insurance company with regard to that woman who hit my new car soon after I got it.. ... if you remember she sideswiped me and hit me on the drivers side.. ... she was in the wrong lane.

.... ...and I'm delighted to say.... her Insurance company have admitted liablility and they are paying out... quite a substantial amount to me.. several £££'s thousands ... I'm over the moon. That's made my day...(y)

Dang glad I no longer drive at these prices today!!
yes but Hawkie, you're not paying those prices in the USA ... only us in the UK .... we're paying the equivalent of $8.89 USD per gallon... and I understand from what I read here that in theUS you're only paying a max of $4.00 usd per gallon...roughly half the price of ours...

thank you Rae..🥰. it's been a horrible year this year the worst in living memory for me.. a very long protracted divorce, then someone wrote my car off and I ended up in hospital having plastic surgery, and then when I got a new car and was finally able to drive someone sideswiped me.... so I hope this is the end of the horrors of the last year...

Tackled the drape over our sliding glass door,, yesterday.

It had been up for awhile.
Was a windy day, planed on drying it on close line on back porch.

It got realty windy , so tried using the dryer.
Finally spread the large drape. over the kitchen table.
It was dry this morning ,,so put it back up.

Hubby finally got the dates for his teeth, Wednesday of this week.
He wants me to go with him,, expects to be a couple of hours getting whatever done.

He will be at hospital March 26.
Again I'll be his driver coming home.

So very sorry to read about Radish Rose.
Rest in peace.

talking of fuel prices going up... as well as being told yesterday that our gas has doubled in price.. and our electricity has risen significantly... we're now told today that the UK has only 2 days of Gas left in store because the Middle East conflict shut down the world's largest gas facility and Iran closed a key shipping channel.

This is really infuriating for us, because we're not even a part of this war....

I get what you mean but none of us were consulted either,

I'm sorry your father is so far away. Hoping he's improving with the hospital's care. 🤗
Thank you, @StarSong! He is improving, thank God. He sounded much more alert and just better in general today. When I spoke to him last weekend I was extremely worried and vacillating on whether to fly down. He may be discharged as soon as tomorrow.

I've been in a bit of a funk lately, in part because of the weather, which has been relentlessly gloomy. I took this photo yesterday in my car:

It just seems like spring is coming everywhere except the Dakotas.

I'm really quite sad about learning that @RadishRose has passed away. I didn't know her that well, but I will miss her a lot. The news came as a total shock. I'm still reeling from the sudden loss of a close online Beatles friend last fall. There are still songs I have a hard time listening to.

I'm very much looking forward to traveling to see my daughter and her family next week and smothering the grandbabies with kisses and hugs! The twins likely may not remember me right away, so I've promised my daughter I won't come bursting in and get in their faces and frighten them. I figure the baby is fair game as she's only 5 months old. 😇

I hope everyone is having a good day! Yikes, @hollydolly; those fuel prices are indeed outrageous!
