Pictures From My Smart Bird Feeder

I'm in the Mid-Atlantic Region. That's a close as I like to get online. ;)
Thank you. That’s understandable. I don’t usually give out too much info about where I live either. Safety first. 👍
I'm in northern New England.😀
❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Thanks Kaila. I looked that up and it gave me 3 different states. I wasn’t looking for an exact state so that’s close enough.

Thanks ladies.

Those beautiful black and white wings.... those are the goldfinches, unless I'm not seeing the ones that you asked about.

They are females so they don't get the distinctive yellow- gold body feathers.
If any of them are males, they will start to turn yellow, very soon. Mine are starting to turn, here, and a reminder, I'm several States north of you.
So yours would turn sooner than mine, or very, very soon. Only the males will turn.
Both male and female have those gorgeous wings.

Oh, look at that! I see it now, the goldfinch in the back feathers. It's going to be so fun when they turn yellow and are flashing in the sun. 🥰 Thank you for sharing this picture.
I took 2 photos this morning, that I am hoping are clear enough, so that you wild bird enthusiasts,
can possibly see how the male goldfinches are gradually beginning to be filling in with a few of the yellow-gold feathers.

See the one up on the tube feeder, on the right side?

And the other photo of same......
But this time, it's the one on the dish, same right side.

Yes! It's so cool how their color is coming in. :) It's going to be fun to share pictures when my guys start changing.

They were at the feeder today, but I didn't get around to transferring the pictures. I'll try tomorrow and maybe we'll see the woodpeckers too. :)

Thanks for sharing these, @Kaila; they are great pictures. ❤️

Not too much going on at the feeder today so far, but there were some pictures of our faves. :)

The little junco has started coming around again, which is nice. They're such soft-looking birds.

The female woodpecker also, which I was very happy to see.

The female woodpecker looking startled or surprised by something. 😅

I have a picture today of a little bit of yellow showing up on the gold finch's back! :) I've been waiting for that since @Kaila explained that these are, in fact, gold (or yellow) finches. :)

And lady woodpecker was by. :) (I think that's lady woodpecker, anyway.)

A video of our lady cardinal in the sun. (Haven't seen her mate in quite a while now, though he must be around.)

The little junco has been coming around again in the mornings.

I just like this picture. I wonder what he/she's (?) looking at?

It IS cool watching the gold finches change colour. I like the lone junco and female cardinal. She always looks around while eating. I wonder what type of bird that last picture is on the right. It looks like the female woodpecker.

This is not a good photo, but there's the male goldfinch on the right side of the dish, with its mostly yellow feathers.
Hopefully you can see him, somewhat. 😀
The goldfinch higher up, on the tube feeder on left side, it's a female. 🙂

I think it was the female woodpecker, too. I'm so glad you're enjoying these pictures as well. 🤗

I just popped in here today because I might have a cool picture of a yellow finch to share today and realized I'd missed several posts, somehow. Dang it. :/

You guys are lovely. I'll look for that goldfinch picture.
