Thank you. That’s understandable. I don’t usually give out too much info about where I live either. Safety first.I'm in the Mid-Atlantic Region. That's a close as I like to get online.![]()
Thanks Kaila. I looked that up and it gave me 3 different states. I wasn’t looking for an exact state so that’s close enough.I'm in northern New England.

Oh, look at that! I see it now, the goldfinch in the back feathers. It's going to be so fun when they turn yellow and are flashing in the sun. Here, today: Goldfinches

Those beautiful black and white wings.... those are the goldfinches, unless I'm not seeing the ones that you asked about.
They are females so they don't get the distinctive yellow- gold body feathers.
If any of them are males, they will start to turn yellow, very soon. Mine are starting to turn, here, and a reminder, I'm several States north of you.
So yours would turn sooner than mine, or very, very soon. Only the males will turn.
Both male and female have those gorgeous wings.
I took 2 photos this morning, that I am hoping are clear enough, so that you wild bird enthusiasts,Oh, look at that! I see it now, the goldfinch in the back feathers. It's going to be so fun when they turn yellow and are flashing in the sun.Thank you for sharing this picture.

Yes! It's so cool how their color is coming in.And the other photo of same......
But this time, it's the one on the dish, same right side.
