A sad day to day.Radish Rose has passed away

Radish Rose was a friend to all so she may have just asked her grandson to make a post for everyone to read. That was thoughtful of them both as it's hard to have such a close friend go missing and never know what ever happened after their absence.

I have only asked one member to come to my beach house for a visit and it was Radish Rose...in all these many years I've been here. I totally trusted her. But she said she had a cat (and I have 2 dogs). I understood. I come here now and I think about her. She was special.
 
I felt lighter reading her posts. I remember her writing about soups and I thought how adventurous and appealing they sounded.

Missing her around her will not be hard. I was sorry to read of her passing.

Condolences and comfort are wished for her family and friends both in real life and on the forums.

When I saw this image, I thought of Radish Rose having a soup break surrounded by the blossoms.

I had to confirm with @Medusa first that it was Radish Rose who joined one of our Zoom meetings. She was having a technical glitch with her audio that we couldn't resolve, but we could see her. She was a lovely, classy looking lady whose great energy was evident. Rest peacefully in Paradise Rose. You'll never be forgotten. :cry:

I personally find nothing tacky about Smiley's remark and I think Rose herself would have laughed. I'm not religious, but if she believed in an afterlife she would truly now be enjoying a fun and stress-free life.

Anyway, wouldn't she be happy that we are still celebrating her life 23 days after she passed? She made an indelible mark on many of us, and that's what living a good life is all about!

Not too long ago she posted a picture of herself sitting beside her toddler great grandson. She looked great. It would be nice to see that picture again.

I saw it as well but can't seem to find it. Here are a couple of pics of her beautiful grandkids/great grandkid. I'm sure she left a great legacy. I still can't believe she is not with us anymore. 😭

Photos of Babies/grand babies/children etc.
