Well, no hooking up the doorbell today. The door frame isn't big enough and the siding next to it is masonry siding. So I have to go to the hardware store and get a drill. Will maybe do that next Thursday. Not this weekend though. I don't know if the doorbell will work or not. It might. Even on the siding next to where I was gonna put it the picture is full and good. Look at me trying to be all DIY. LOL
 
Thanks. I think until I start to heal from this gluten intolerance I'm just gonna feel pretty lousy. I may hafta rest more until I start to feel better. Just do the necessary and leave the rest and just take it easy. It's all I can do just to get through my shift at work each day.

I will hafta wait til I get my drill to install my jar opener. I worry if my hands will be able to hold out until I can get them fixed. I think they would hurt less if I wasn't going through this gluten detox. I'm just doing the best I can to hang in there.

Got back on Fmovies and was watching Shifting Gears. It's free on there but it costs to watch it on streaming services. Landman was on there and a bunch of other stuff.
 
You could start a new thread of pictures from it. 😊
Sorta like the one with wild birds from the smart bird feeder.LOL

If it's too boring, (yours, that is)
then, we could stage some unexpected things. 😁
Such as a giraffe. (Of course your camera will not include its head)

As per usual there is little to nothing on the agenda. I spent the remainder of yesterday in bed. Today I must get up and get around a little. I'm gonna try to make some soft tacos or fry the shell to make a tostada. I don't know if I need tomato paste for the taco seasoning but if I do that's just too bad.

Never did get in the shower yesterday so I must today. I want a hot bath but I'm too afraid I won't be able to get out of the tub. I will have dishes to wash and I would like to play some video games today but we'll see.

I put on Pluto TV last night and fell asleep before midnight I think. Slept off and on til 8 something? I sure hope that joint care stuff helps with some of my hand pain.

I need to go get in the shower and go watch some online church. Be back later.​
 
I had my lunch and watched my church service. I looked at a couple youtube videos. One was about games coming to Switch even though I don't have one anymore. I like to see what they have that I can watch for on Xbox since some games come to that platform.

I'm getting ready to check out some other games on Xbox and go play a little before my shower.
 
I am playing something called Fall Guys. You have these characters that look like jelly beans with eyes, arms and legs. They have to race through obstacle courses to a finish line. They have outfits you can win or buy.

I got 1 today called Nea-fall-itin since I fall a lot. LOL

I played some botany manor. I am presently stuck in the garden house. I will hafta see how to get out. Hehe.

Gonna nibble on something and watch tv. Goodnight friends.
 
took the laptop to the bedroom and put on schitt's creek and turned in around 1:15 am. started out with the cpap and had to take it off around 4:30. woke around 9:30. i'm having a bologna sandwich and some fresh grapes before work. i spent almost the entire weekend sleeping. i feel a little better. my fingers are very stiff and sore though today. used the tens unit for 30 min instead of 20 this morning. my joint care stuff is supposed to come today. hopefully it won't get stolen off the porch.

thursday i'm going to the hardware store for a drill set to rectify this whole porch thing. tired of worrying about packages all the time. i might buy a fake security camera too. point it towards the alley. lol!

i put some games in my wishlist on xbox. i bought 2 games yesterday. one was botany manor and the other is a game about a garden shop or something. i guess botany manor is not only a cozy game but has garden puzzles. that is why i'm currently stuck in the greenhouse. i wonder if i can call into work and tell them i can't come in cuz i'm stuck in my greenhouse? haha! i hafta get this one plant to grow to clear the fog in the greenhouse before i can get out. *looks @ black thumb* i'm so doomed.

i'm glad i don't talk to anyone too much at work because anymore all they do is talk crap on everyone else. or complain about their job. i like this housekeeping gig cuz i don't hafta say much to anyone. i'm just floating along in the background doing my thing.

it's supposed to be 90 and windy today. i don't like it when it's windy. i don't take the thing off the trash that i have it tied to the porch with on windy days so i waited til they picked up the garbage to take another round out. they usually just pull the bags out if there's only 2 or 3. every time it's full and they have to move it to the truck (it's not tied to the porch on those days) the guy starts swearing. i don't know why. people throw stuff in my trash all the time since it's next to the alley. this morning there's a box cutter at the bottom of the can. doesn't appear to have a blade in it.

of course the day i want to get the drill and hang the ring doorbell, it's gonna be chilly and rainy. :rolleyes:🤣
 
I think since my gummies might melt in this heat I'm gonna wait for them even if I'm a tad late. Same with tomorrow since my can opener was expensive. I've only had 2 sick days this year to my knowledge so it won't kill them if I'm a little late.
