since it's spring now the carpet beetles are starting to come in again. *sigh* i'll hafta spray the edges of all the rooms with my multi-insect spray again.

it was a very small piece and i either swallowed it or blew it out. it burned so bad.

Thanks for posting them.

I tried to get an electric opener, due to my motor an hand problems, but the ones i tried left sharp edges, and even little metal filing parts, IN the food of meds.....:eek::oops:

So I had to go back to struggling with whatever manual ones I could find.:(

My MIL had an electric opener that left a smooth edge. I can't remember the brand name, but I seen this one on Amazon that looked like the one she had. Hamilton Beach seems to still be a good brand & they may even have them locally at the stores.

I'm still using a manual one that leaves a smooth edge. It's pretty easy to turn & I've had it for a long time. I just don't have that much room to have one on the counter because we don't use one that much. I'm noticing that a lot of cans are coming with snap tops like the cat food.
