Seal sleeping on road causes Mornington Peninsula traffic delays

A sleeping seal has held up motorists making their way along the Mornington Peninsula, causing a major road to be closed in both directions in the popular coastal area after it stopped to rest on the roadway.

That's one of those global warming protestors. It was napping.

I was on I-10 one days some years ago and cars were slowing down ahead. From afar, it looked like a dead deer in the road but when I got up there, it was obviously a llama. I assume it had escaped from a nearby farm.

You know you're in a better neighborhood when there are dead llamas on the road, rather than deer.

The silver lining is that wild life is cared for. The recent pics of those crabs with road closers & over the highway bridges now this makes my day.
