Yes, we gave direction to aliens as to where to find us. Why not give out your Internet site passwords to everyone? Why are we so anxious to find other life forms? They may not be as friendly as E.T. and carry microbes that can cause pandemics. Remember "War of the Worlds"? The same thing can happen in reverse.

Did some research. Below is a photo of the 2300 year old shoes. Still impressive in their workmanship, but not much of a resemblance to the ones in the meme.
