Learning How To Live Life

ok so i will play save the world on fortnite as a solo play and then i found a bunch of non combat games to play on there. i played the lego one briefly. it's a little glitchy on there. i also ran a rocket race. that was ok. i got a prop hunt game and a couple hide and seeks to try. plus some other stuff.

so sometimes i get groceries and don't have room to put them away so the bags stay in the corner for a short time. last week a gal who delivered my doordash from the grocery store put this little rubbing stone in my bag with a little note that said thank you for your order. i thought it was precious. plus it's a heart which is my favorite!!

Mornin!
What a great day for ____________ (fill in the blank)

For me it's a great day for relaxing. It's my day off. My main chore today is to sand my teef down so they're not digging into my face. I got one of those nail drill kits and one bit on there is for my dentures only.

Aside from that I have a few dishes and some laundry to tend to.

Our supervisor that was tryna be the director may not always please me in choices on how to run things but as a person I like her. She collects those screaming chickens and I found the superhero one that looks like a girl at Walmart. I'm gonna get it for her. LOL! It's frickin hilarious! They even have earrings but she doesn't wear them. She's got a pen too.

I will probably hop on and play some Fortnite today. Not sure what else.

They want us to do this culture of safety survey at work. I will do it but I'm not gonna lie about what goes on. I don't understand the point in it when nothing ever happens to fix anything.

We have people who work with us who have disabilities which I can understand but, they make little to no effort to do their job and do it right. They don't even try. They make excuses and yet one of them hides in the relaxation room or any break room or rest room and plays on her phone and makes tik tok videos instead of doing her job. However, she gets away with it.

I have things wrong with me too but I don't use them as an excuse to not do my job. And they don't get wrote up or fired or nothing. I'm sorry but I think that's total BS. They would actually fire me for the same offense and replace me with her. Rather than have someone that actually cleans. Makes no sense to me in business situation.

Got my teefers tended to. Will try them out later. I'm gonna finish my coffee and see what there is to see on here.

What you do is so very very important! If I was a nurse on your unit, I would be screaming to high h3ll all the way to the top. Easy for me to say because I could always find another job. It is so unfair to be treated like this when what you do is crucial to the well-being of every single person who walks through the door! And the cleaning solutions/chemicals may be the very thing that is causing your respiratory problems. I share your frustration and anger.

no the copd is what causes my respiratory issues. we clean with 2 chemicals which are diluted in buckets of water. the only spray product i use is fusion which is a bleach and i have my mask on when i use that.

what gets me is the gal with the disability is allowed to leave the unit in unsafe conditions and nobody says boo. she does the minimum and spends the rest of her shift on her ass.

she won't clean the bottom parts or the railings on the beds. she never dusts ever. she doesn't clean blood off walls or anything else. but someone like me would get wrote up if i didn't.

and the kicker is, even if you have a few days off and aren't even there working, if they find blood or anything left by whoever worked for you, you are the one that will get wrote up and can lose your job because of what someone else did. that's what ticks me off. the person responsible gets into zero trouble for it.

i don't know how they can do business like that and keep their doors open. they pass inspections every year and i don't know how. cuz they swear the achc is very thorough. lmao!

I'm fighting a case of the blues, and that feeling of being weary. My husband has so many health issues, but refuses to retire - while I am 7 years younger than him and 100% ready to retire.

Other than that - alls well. :)
