Gentle posts for gentle folks

After a short nap today, I am very happy to share with all of you, that dear husband and I managed an outing to the nearby garden center.
It is extremely close by, yet an accomplishment for us, nonetheless.

I was filled with gratitude, to find us there.
☺️🤩🥰☺️

We came home with a few packs of very cold hardy pansies, with bright cheerful colors.
It's still quite cold for any outdoor plants,
And we had no intention to plant them now, but it helped both our spirits, to do this, today.

Savor the memory.
 
Good morning everyone. Another bright sunny start to the day. The snooker is at semi final stage and doesn't start until this afternoon so Rocco and I might make it to the park this morning. ;)

So pleased you made it to the garden centre @Kaila. That must have been really good for both of you. 😁And you bought pansies, I love them, always so colourful.

Well... I can hear barking so his lordship has arrived. Catch up later!

How is everyone on this wonderful thread this Thursday?

The day got away from me yesterday and I never got a chance to pop in. Sincerest apologies for the lack of coffee!

I watched a movie with boyfriend yesterday afternoon, Apex with Charlize Theron, which was pretty good. And later husband and I watched some hockey. We couldn't find a game with our secondary team so watched a different one. It's playoff hockey so, it's all good at this point.

@PeppermintPatty, how cool that you had your own baking biz! You have layers, girl. :cool:🥰 (Ha! See what I did there? Layers?)

@Kaila, sorry for your struggles with the aquatic therapy. :( Maybe it will get better, or if it doesn't, you'll still have your regular physical therapy which you've been doing so well with.

--I'm loving your flower (and bird) pictures. 🥰 So great that you and husband got out to the garden center! That is awesome, girl. I'm tell'n ya... BAWG!

@Pam, hoping the Snooker semi-finals prove fun to watch. :)

Thanks @Medusa - I am thoroughly enjoying the snooker. This is the biggest event in the snooker calendar. Unfortunately, the two players that I particularly like have been knocked out of the competition. Of the remaining four, there is only one player I don't like so I'm hoping he'll get knocked out when his match continues today. Knowing my luck, he'll go on to win the title. 😁

Going to have my one daily coffee now before my mate arrives.

@Medusa- yes I had a gluten free baking business and had it at a time when it was hard to find good gluten free baking goods.
Those coffees sure look good..

@Pam - I don’t know anything about snooker so can’t join in. I hope Rocco is doing well. Our little boys name is Rosco so I never forget Rocco’s name and it’s Rosco’s 4th birthday May 7, the day after my colonoscopy.

@CallMeKate - I hope your cold is getting better. How have you been feeling lately?

Today is Friday. I hope you all have a fabulous day. Here in s a hedgehog pretending to be Stevie Wonder. Lol

Well that’s good. Don’t you hate when you think it’s all over and then you relapse and start up all over again? It wasn’t really a question. More of an affirmation. It’s nice to be able to breathe while sleeping. I think that’s one of the worst things about having a cold is that you can’t breathe properly.

I’m fine thank you. I’m fretting about doing this Colonoscopy. Apparently I’ve got signs and symptoms of colon cancer.

Unfortunately I don’t have a doctor. My doctor got a better job in Ontario so moved there.
Most people who answered my thread, who had a colonoscopy, ended up with a negative result, so I’m hoping I’m in that majority .

Thanks for telling us here, that you've got your colonoscopy scheduled for this week. I'm glad to hear that you'll be getting that behind you, very soon.

And another reason that it's also good to have gotten a date that soon, is because they can take care of things during that procedure, so if there is any problem, it won't be progressing.

And there might not be a problem, so your worry could go.
Either way it's important and worth it to go through it, imo❣️

Step by step, you'll cope with the next few days, leading up to it. 💗

Hope everyone is feeling good this Friday afternoon. 🥰

Today I am helping husband get ready (laundry, hair/face maintenance, packing) for the trip to see our son in Florida he is taking on Sunday. He'll only be away until Wednesday; it's a fairly quick trip this time. I'll miss him, of course, though. I'd miss him if he were gone for a day.

My son and I are planning a bit of partying in the form on homemade pizza and M&M cookies. ;)
