Went to a steak house for Mother's Day. There were 4 of us and the bill came to $109.00. I left a $26.00 tip for the excellent wait staff service.
The waitress seemed taken aback and asked if I needed money back.
I guess people are up against it these days and not tipping like they used to. For great service I usually tip in the 20-25 percent range.
