I get those black bean burgers too!! Aldi's has them. They have gotten rather expensive at 4.58 a box. I get them anyways! What a fun topic.
Spicy black bean burger with sliced tomato, white onion, sliced green olives and mustard on toasted marble rye. It's a pretty standard, just-about-daily sandwich for me.
Are they any good...I might be interested in trying them. I didn't know you could actually buy them, only thought of making them.I get those black bean burgers too!! Aldi's has them. They have gotten rather expensive at 4.58 a box. I get them anyways!
I used to make my own hummus. Most of my "sandwiches" are open face on Wasa MultiGrain Cripsbread, Multigrain crackers. Usually (homemade) hummus, sliced tomato, sliced cucumber, Romaine leaf and some nori seaweed sheets.
Sometimes peanut butter with or without jelly.
They are pricey! So good, though. I like Boca brand spicy "chick'n" patties as well.I get those black bean burgers too!! Aldi's has them. They have gotten rather expensive at 4.58 a box. I get them anyways!

I had to look-up "Lashings of Lurpak."Today's sandwich was...
Thick white sliced bread (Warburton's Toastie)
Lashings of Lurpak
A full packet of Walker's Salt & Vinegar Crisps

I would love to have the recipe of the Sweet Thai salad!I had a Sweet Thai salad yesterday for lunch and hubs took leftovers to work. He worked late last night, so I put his salad in a low carb, high-fiber tortilla and ate it as a sandwich. I don't always eat poorly!![]()
