One thing I would eliminate is that laughing statue. Notice the handles on the drawers. They represent a pair of dice.

No, for me too.....I see lots of old luggage at flea markets, I've see it as tables stacked on the floor, but never on the wall.

get rid of the sideboard and the horrible ornaments..and leave the cases....and yes, absolutely I would, in fact it's given me food for thought...hmmm....I might do this to a wall in my house..I like it......but with better looking retro luggage....I already have one wall in my house that just has Ladies Hats!!

I really like it but I would not destry the suitcases like that,I would stack them on the floor and maybe add a piece of glass on them.

I seen one of the contestants do that on a renovation show on TV ,I thought it looked quite effective in the "show home" but not what I'd call very functional for every day living

Those bureau handles look like dominoes. I like the suitcase shelves...good for a room with a travel theme. I'm going to assume that they weren't in usable condition. It would take some engineering, but I would want them to open. These obviously don't, as the wall sides are flush with the wall. A pretty cool place to store stuff, if they did.

I've seen some great end tables, coffee tables and chairs made of old suitcases. With my love of travel, I'd like to have a study or den decorated like that. Now all I need is the study or den......bummer.

I would post piccies Pappy but it's on one of my own bedroom walls, so too private for the forum.. sowwwy!! ..however it does look pretty , I have similar but with flowery pretty brimmed hats on a wall in one of my bedrooms in Southern Spain too
