Tickets for this years Super Bowl in San Francisco are selling at record prices in the after/resale market. IE a ticket scalpers delight.

Last week there was a 'legit' offer through a 'tour' company: $12,000 for two tickets, $3,500 per night for the hotel, and only $450 for a roundtrip plane ticket between here (Denver) and San Francisco...

If it wasn't for these tickets, the Dallas Cowboys would never get to the Super Bowl!!

It seems that most years, the most entertaining part of the Super Bowl is the Halftime Show. The Superbowl is just a venue for the Super Rich to gather together for another lavish party.

The only thing about the SuperBowl that I'll be participating in is this Thursday (yeah - Superbowl Thursday) -

Domino's has unlimited medium cheese pizzas for $3.99 (toppings $1 extra!). layful:

They pay all that money and then spend time on the internet. Record stadium wi fi usage by fans. 10 Terrabytes of data and another 16 Terrabytes with their personal carriers.

I pay a thousand or two including transportation and lodging I think I could ignore the internet for 4 hours.

I once spent $800 on a ticket that sold originally for $244. It was worth it (opening ceremonies at the Vancouver Olympics), but I don't see myself ever doing that again.
