What is the most endearing thing your pet/pets do?

When I go somewhere my chihuahua will go around trying to gather all her little stuffed babies and put them right next to the door. Then she will sit there with them until I come home. It's precious. It's like she wants to make sure she has her babies if we are moving.

Levon has this trick that you just know he has learned makes him irresistible. When you start to make a fuss over him he sticks out his tongue, just enough to make a kitten face. And he keeps it out as long as he's being petted. The dogs both do puppy paws. When they want extra attention they'll rub their nose into their paws.

The tongue out is funny :D I love the puppy paws against the nose thing..it's adorable .

Maybe she's saying, "Play with me...you pick one."

My Finnian is unusually needy for a cat. Soon as I sit in my recliner, and the minute I settle in bed for the night, he pats the back of my hand and chirps, as if to say "Make this thing do its job."

Buddy, my older cat, does something that's more weird than cute; several times a day, he sits looking up at the coat tree and meows in his "Pay attention to me NOW" voice. There is one jacket and a few hats on the coat tree. Does he think it's a person? The hats and coat all smell like me, but then I'm always right here, ready to pay attention. I don't know, it's just kind of weird.

My small dog jumps and spins around and around when I say "treat".
When I scratch or pet her, she looks up at me and half closes her eyes in bliss. It almost looks like she's smiling.

I know dogs smile for real. I think they have similar facial muscles or something. Something else sweet the cats all do is groom the humans. Some prefer hands, others necks or ears, but that's so adorable when they wash you and themselves at the same time.

Since my roommate went into the hospital Mao has been grooming my beard. Guess he figures it's just another piece of cat fur.

My cat snuggles up with me sometimes at night near the pillow and puts his 'arm' around my neck, he purrs and sometimes trills until he falls asleep. I like it too when he sits, he sits a lot, first cat I've had that did that. First pic is him on the loveseat in my computer room, next one is in our camper where he nodded off in a sitting position.

Sea, he's adorable. Faze, I have never seen a cat drink water like that - congratulations! You win the internet today!

Fur, I think you're right - or at least I've become a surrogate Mommy until the real one comes home. ;)

Sea Breeze, I love your cat's big head. My Buddy's head looked huge until he fattened up. I used to make my little grandkids giggle when I sang a song called "Buddy's big ol' noggin."

I had a little Yorkshire Terrier. When everyone was seated at the dining room table he would go around and steal the napkins off their laps. You could always tell who the victim was because they would start laughing for no reason at all.

He really is such a cutie :)

My cat drinks water my putting her paw in the water then licks it off.

Bella, my dog, always looks up at me for permission to go out the door, jump up in the car or to get in my lap...she's such a nice girl.

When I first brought my Bonnie home about a year ago, she was a bit stiff (Humane Society said she had been largely neglected and probably left outside). Whenever I would do something kind for her, like pet her or give her her food, she would look up at me with such surprise and gratitude, and then give me a little kiss. She still does that, it's as it she's saying "For Me???" And when it was so cold here and I'd put her blankie over her at night she'd give a big sigh and almost purr and snuggle into it. She definitely has my heart.

Callie has peach fuzz fur. When the temps go under 60 he is shivering. Bedtime for him is straight between hubby and me, face under the blankets at our feet. It's like having a brick wall and if he's rude he peels the paint. But you hear this big sigh you know he's out for the night.

Oh my gosh, that's so sweet.

The cats watch us to make sure we are doing everything correctly. Sometimes several of them will climb under a car that my brother or husband is trying to work on and get it their way. And then about the same time a dog or two will be licking their ears. :)
