What are some new Baby female names?

A beautiful Greek name means..life.... My daughter is called Anthe ^.^ means wild flower blooming or flowery.. also Greek in origin.

I love my nephew's Turkish wife's name .. Deniz, meaning the "sea".

My nieces are Elizabeth, Alexandra, Gwen, Taylor, Skylar, Paige, and Jillian. My nephews are Gregory and Alexander. They are all grown now.

My niece named her girl Kennedy...I dunno...guess I'm old fashioned, I like traditional names...Emily, Alexandra, Elizabeth. What makes me wacky is when a child's given name is actually a nickname, like Trish. Name them Patricia and let them pick something shorter if they wish.

We must be VERY careful when we name our children. We must keep in mind what it must sound like when they're grown up.
Giving her/him a cutesy name could be embarrassing when they become adults. We must also be aware of a name that the kids on the block
will call your daughter or son. Also names that could be a boy or girl .

And the initials on a monogram if they would ever have one. Think what those initials could spell !

One thing that drives me up the wall is naming your son a "Junior". Any subsequent sons being born would think they were kicked
under the bus. That means that "Daddy" would have a "Sr." after HIS name. Kids are born individuals! Let's try and keep it that way.

I'm glad I wasn't named Richard !

That's a cute name for a girl Lon, a coworker of mine named his baby girl the same name, but he spelled it Zoe. Not up to date on the new names these days.

A neighbour's new baby girl is called Persimmon. It's different but will
she like it when she's going to school?
Can't think of a nickname for Persimmon.
A family member has a two year old girl named Lennon.

Well, of course, persimmon is widely used, so perhaps Pudding, or Cake, of Jelly!

Oldest daughter and her husband named our granddaughters Reagan and Kennedy. About 5 years ago, they got a small black male Dachshund. He's "Nixon". Why? Well, they said he was a "low down dirty dog"!!!

A name I have read of being used lately, thanks to Game of Thrones popularity, is Daenerys, a character on the show. There were also other names picked from the show, such as Arya and Khaleesa (this being the title of the character Daenerys).

I have only one grandchild with a traditional name.....he was named after his father. Seems naming babies has become a contest of being the most creative. There is a Kade, a Chelsea and a Shae. My great-grandchildren are Kierra and Mila. Though admittedly, I did name my daughter Mia Graziella (My thankfulness) long before Mia became a popular name.

I think celebrities take it over the edge quite often. I mean you can name your kid Queensborough Bridge, but does that mean you should? I can understand names from popular culture though. Pretty name is Dayanara.

Some suggestions:

Bronwyn, Heather, Amber (my daughter's name), Chloe (I almost chose this for my daughter)
