Hey all you who are up now and later!

I am up real late often and hardly anyone is posting during these times. I don't understand why. Oh well, just thought I'd say it.

I'm awake, too, Warri and it's 1:45 AM Thursday morning February 2nd. How are you doing?

Hey Ruth I am rarely in bed before 1 am. I hate mornings and love my late nights and I am often up even later. I see Warri's name there sometimes. What is yout time difference to me.. I am 8 hours behind England. 4 hours behind the East Coast of Canada but I always have to look it up if I phone my brother in Melbourne. It is 11 pm here right now. I think I am 5 hours ahead of Melbourne

It is 2 am now. I have my account set on invisible so no one can see when I'm here; rather sneaky of me, no? Haha. It just makes me feel more safe for some reason. I am on Eastern Standard Time. Nice to see you here now. It's always nice to see you.:cheers1:

Ahha so that is why I don't see you, very clever.. I am just going actually as I have bread almost ready to go in the oven and the furbabies need their last run

See you later Jeannine. I am often on here till 2-4 am EST. Have a good night with the furbabies!:love_heart:

No Jeannine, you are 19 hours behind Melbourne and Sydney but if you don't care what day it is, then 5 hours ahead is easier to get your head around.

Well, you must be up at a regular time then bluesunflower. I'm afraid it's still very late here in the states: 3:50 AM but I am a Night Owl. Hoot Hoot!:sentimental:

I have no need to get up so early, but choose to do so as it is part of my daily routine, which I like to stick to.
That's cool, whatever floats your boat as they say...I happen to stay up longer than most for what reason I've yet to determine. LOL;)

Night Owl here, too. I never go to bed before midnight and usually it's 1 or 2 before I hit the sack. I'm quite capable to getting up early...... if I have to......but I prefer late nights and late mornings. This routine allows the Spousal Equivalent and me to have our "personal time". He's an early-to-bed-and-early-to-rise type. We both get a few hours of solo time this way.

It's 3.50 am and much too hot to sleep.
Is it Summer there Warri?

There can be some problems with the time difference between the USA and Australia.

My granddaughter was in the USA on holiday and somehow missed a flight because of no bus turning up. She didn't have enough to pay for the next flight so contacted her father in Australia.

He offered the airline to pay the cost via his credit card, but they couldn't process it, because in Australia it was Wednesday 24th, and it was only Tuesday 23rd in the USA.

Changing subject a little. Australia is going through a bit of a heat wave at the moment. Very few days below 100F where I live and not much relief at night either.. High humidity too.

Rainfall has been quite low too.
