Nice to know 474 were arrested. No details though about where the 474 were from or how they managed to operate.

Said about three dozen were pimps and mentioned undercover officers and stings... my guess was 430 or so where johns.
 

I was thinking an article should include nationalities, names & where the people were being trafficked from. The continuance of the wall that is proposed to reduce drugs entering, trafficking in people and illegals from all over the world that enter Mexico and eventually into America might find some support from California residents if the perpetrators were other than Americans.

18 arrests were from Riverside County. 142 men arrested for solicitation, 238 arrested on prostitution charges and 36 arrested for pimping. Most arrested were between 21-55 years of age.

Back in the early 90's, we investigated a missing 17 year-old girl. She was very pretty, smart and popular. It took us five and a half years to finally locate her. She was sold into human trafficking and was located in Hawaii as a rich old man's bride. Honolulu P.D. informed us of a sting they were performing when they found her. Her Mom and Dad thought that they would never see her again. They never gave up hope, even though many others did. She was to fly into Philadelphia and meet up with her parents, but they couldn't wait, so they went to Honolulu and met her at the police station. She has required a lot of therapy and I believe that she is still being counselled.
 
So pleased these people were caught. This stuff is all too familiar to me. RIP all my little friends who weren't rescued. I remember you, and honour you with every breath I take. Salut, mes soeurs, et mes freres. Je suis triste. You will always be my family.
 
It's absolutely horrific that some people do terrible things to little kids. Every time I hear these sorts of things, I instantly think of our little Elsa and Liam and imagine them.....how could people?
 
Sex Slavery is rapidly becoming one of the fastest growing crimes....all over the country. Even here, in the usually quiet Midwest, the number of these incidents is becoming a real problem.

Debby---You are so right. I have been involved in both the rescue and recovery of little children. The recovery of little children is heartbreaking, absolutely heartbreaking. It stays with a person for a lifetime. It tears my heart out just thinking about it. When the pedophile is arrested, it's very hard for a policeman to control their emotions. That is one part of the job that I do not miss.

108 arrested in Illinois. Mostly those trying to buy sex. Among those arrested were a college professor & high school principal.

Part of a nationwide initiative that focused on arresting sex purchasers that ran late January through early February. Also a Super Bowl sting in Houston netted over 100 individuals.
