Our second major storm in a week is winding down

Last week we had the big wind storm. Starting yesterday we had the Nor'easter hit. We got several feet of snow. Lots of blowing and drifting. It was hard to keep up with it all. Sharing some pictures here. Going to take more tomorrow. One if of all the snow on the ramp. The other is looking next door. As perspective, that garbage can is one of those many people have, stands about 4 feet tall, or soo. Maybe a bit taller. Snow is blowing in that picture.

Hope you have some help digging out there Marie and hope you don't have to drive anywhere soon. Stay warm and safe!

My very nice neighbor plowed the drive for us. I just had to move the car. I did some of the ramp, enough to get in and out. I have to go to a dr appt. tomorrow, but a couple friends are coming out to do a better job on the ramp.

Hope everything goes okay for you tomorrow, Marie. I can empathize with you; down here in Wilkes-Barre we had about 2' of snow, with drifts up to 4'. It took me several hours just to dig a path from the front door to the street. The ramp in the back that my roommate uses will have to wait; there's no way anyone could get there through the parking lot anyway.

Cabin fever is setting in ... :(

If it's not an emergency I would reschedule that appointment!!!

In my area we have an official 22 inches with another 4 or 5 to come before it stops. I worry about the next week or two, the snow on the roof of our parking garage acts like a giant sponge when it warms up and rains after a big storm, the management of our complex has reinforced the structure with a series of 12" square wooden beams but someday I expect a knock at my door letting me know that I need a new vehicle!

The appointment is not until 1PM, and not far. The snow has officially stopped, and main roads are clear and clean. Since it is an appointment to help with my SS disability claim, I plan on keeping it Thanks for your concern though. Plus, I pass a grocery store, and do want to stop. Luckily, I stocked up well before the storm hit, just want to stop in and get a couple of "while I am out anyway things"

We missed that storm which turned to rain where I live so we escaped with very little snow. I feel very lucky. Hope the best for all who are cold and snow bound.
