A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a weekend incident in which a 68-year-old woman was thrown into an apartment complex pool after she tried to break up a party, the Broward County Sheriff's Office said.
The teen turned himself in to police in North Lauderdale, Florida, at about 5 p.m. Monday, authorities said.
The Sheriff's Office said the boy faces a charge of battery on a person 65 years or older in connection with the incident Saturday when 68-year-old Nancy James was thrown into a pool at the complex where she lives in North Lauderdale.
According to a Sheriff's incident report, James and 45-year-old Mitchelle Lozano went with their dogs to the pool area of the Player's Place Complex on Saturday at around 7 p.m. to try to stop a party there.

What no rioting? No mention of color, no mention of body slamming the 68 yr. old woman then throwing her into the pool. Actually I'm surprised that abcnews was courageous enough to run what little they did. A couple hundred black teens stood by and watched.

I can only imagine the coverage if this had been a white teen attacking a 68 yr. old black woman. I don't think that sentence makes me a racist more like a person in touch with reality.

Some states and I believe Florida is one that has mandatory sentencing for abuse/assualt of the elderly, the age varies, which is about 15 yrs and may go as high as 30 yrs. Mandatory which means the court has no provisions for leniency.

I am still trying to figure out why you made the title what you made it? I don't understand that?

In a previous thread about misdeeds, I asked "Dear Lord, what next?" I guess Knight was letting me know "what's next".
That's exactly right. After body slamming her the crowd was chanting throw her into the pool. You questioned the other thread about 40 to 50 teens. This one into the hundreds having no concern for a the 68 yr. old woman.

What's next ? Depending on what the MSM deems as important and the narrative that sells I guess we'll just have to wait & see.

Oh boy, I must have missed that one. Well, that makes sense now. Thanks.
