This is a thread to make us feel better about ourselves through doing things/getting little things or big things done.

Me too. My friend gave me one that he had burned a hamburger to a crisp in. He went out and bought a new one.

I have been experimenting with vinegar, vanilla, baking soda, etc. etc. to get the remaining odor out. It gets into the vents. I don't use a microwave that often.

So maybe just over time it will disappear.

And I printed out a picture and took it to the hospital for a friend of mine.

It's nice to have a clean micro. isn't it.

I cleaned out my fridge because I'm going away to warmer part of Aust for a month soon
I was hoping to transfer my upright freezer contents to the top freezer if the fridge but there still to much in the freezer I like to,turn if off while I'm away but no such luck so that got a little "winter " ( not a spring as it's winter here ) :laugh:clean as well

Good for you! Refrigerator is on my list of things to do, too.

It went up into the mts and watched my husb help a grandson get a fan belt back on his car. It was a hot day, well over 100*. Then came home and napped.

try blasting some chopped lemon and bicarb and leaving the steam to soak in, then just wipe out! hopefully will clear the vents too, seems to work well on the oven!

That's next. I thought I had it beat. But then you get a whiff of it when you open the door. It smells like tobacco although the previous owners definitely did not smoke.

I think it's the burned fat in the burger that did the trick. Maybe I should cook some bacon in the microwave?

Well, so far. I got out of bed and walked into the bath room. The floor was covered in this blue gunk. Turns out I bought a great big jug of laundry soap. You buy in bulk, save money. The jug had a weak spot in the plastic, which gave way. I then walk into the kitchen, and the floor was underwater. The connection from my dish washer is leaking. I shut the water off to it. Got to get a plumber. After cleaning all the stuff up, I made breakfast. I had the heel of a loaf of bread. I wasn't sure to make toast out of it. Well, I tried. It's now, stuck in the damn toaster. I had to get away for awhile, so I'm typing this.

I think you should win the prize for worst day today, fuzzybuddy. Hang in there.

I went grocery shopping and hopefully bought enough food for a few weeks. I spent all the cash I had in my purse. That's what happens when I don't keep track of how much the items cost and add them up before I pay...:playful:

Walking home from the park I noticed a shop sign saying 'Half price items' so went in for a look and came out with a bagful of food saving myself at least ÂŁ10.00, the shop is closing for refurbishments, so I'm pleased with my accomplishment today :)

Went to Walmart and bought some diabetic testing supplies.

Today was a good day, I read the labels on three different bags of cookies and put all three back on the shelf!!!

It's always nice to save money. I spent $85.00 today but I went to Aldi's where the food is half price so I saved a lot, too.

Glad you had a good day Aunt Bea. I looked at a lot of chocolates, cookies, nuts, chips and all kinds of food that is not good for me. I didn't buy any of them either~;)

Ive had few accomplishments so I don't remember any. Just finished a book by an Naval Admiral entitled "Make Your Bed." He suggest making your bed each morning so you'd at least have one accomplishment for the day and might encourage others. He was an ambitious cuss. I'm an old dog who hunts no more. Accomplishment are few. Can still tie my own shoes. Does that count for anything?
