A major land and sea military exercise involving Australian and US personnel has been taking place in Australia.
There has been an accident involving a helicopter that failed to land safely on its mother ship. Of the 26 crew 23 were recovered alive, two others have been confirmed dead and one is still missing. One crewman is in hospital in Brisbane.

Rest in peace, brave sons of liberty.

I hope they find the missing Marine. I know from studying airplane crashes into the sea that recovering bodies are very difficult. If the sea is turbulent and floats the body a great distance from the site of the wreckage it is unlikely that it would be recovered. Hopefully, they will use all the technology that is at their disposal to locate the person missing. The fact that the missing Marine may be dead is one thing for his parents and loved ones to deal with, but not having a body to bury makes it even worse.

the osprey has probably killed more men then war

You are so correct. The Osprey has a terrible safety record. I think Japan at one time did not allow it to be flown over their country, but I may be mistaken.
