What was the best advice anyone ever gave to you?

I'm not exactly living a stellar life, so I can't really give great words of wisdom. To be honest, it's way better to keep your advice to yourself. That way, you're always right.

Same for me SeaBreeze. I worked all my life and at times had more than just one job in order to take care of my kids. My daughter when asked about her work ethic tells folks that her mama taught her how to work.

Yep, I got that "advice" waaay early on, but I'd describe it more like an "order."

Every single night at bedtime, after I kissed my Dad goodnight he would say,"Don't take any wooden nickles". His way of saying be careful, don't get scammed or cheated. I'm very wary and don't make quick decisions. I think it was good advice.
