I pay in full when I receive the bill.
This idea of a late fee was new to me but here it is.

If you make the payment during the previous billing period and then not pay during the regular billing time they will give you a fee. They have done it to me, too.have you ever paid a late fee for making a payment on your credit card too early? well i paid 2 of them they waived one ---i cancelled the card--i found out they al do it----

NmmmmOnly if you pay the bill during the previous billing period, then charge more and don't pay THAT amount during its appropriate billing period. The amount you paid early WOULD have been charged in the billing period during which you charged the second amount, which is due at the end of its billing period -- you paid part of the balance that would have been due, but the rest of it is still due on its due date. You have to be aware of the card's billing period and the payment due dates.
For instance, I charge $10 and pay it ahead of time, before the end of its billing period; THEN I charge $25 also during the same billing period. The $25 is still due when it's due, regardless whether I paid that $10 early or not. You have to be aware of the billing period and due dates. That's how you can get messed up because you are thinking "I already paid that bill this month," but you didn't pay the whole balance due, only part of it -- the unpaid amount of the balance is still due and if you didn't pay that part it is late and you get a late fee.

that is what happened---neither payment was late they just put both payments on the first bill even tho the month for the payment was on the check----we live and learn---i have always done it before i guess it is just their gimmick to make extra money
If the card gets stolen, and you immediately report it, you agreed to pay the balance-whatever the crooks bought. If they max out your $10,000 limit, you get to pay it back. .
One I'd never get that's for darn sure!I've never hears of anything like this. Exactly what credit card is this?
its a chase credit card thru amazon
