Is it the VISA signature card? That has zero fraud liability. Besides, federal law limits the liability of cardholders to $50 if the card is stolen If just the account number is stolen, you have zero liability under federal law.

If an authorized user uses the card, it's a different matter.

Once, and I realized that I paid it after the due date; it has never happened again.

I make payments throughout the month for various amounts so I won't get hit by a huge bill when it becomes due. I have never been charged interest.
