Same here! I'm going to go hang my wreath on my front door right now, Ive been procrastinating for about a week now.

I did decorate a little inside the house but no big Christmas tree, that's just too much of a hassle for just me....and Pickles. :)
 

That was Amazing and Beautiful. I don't know how only the two of you could handle all that. My Dad loved decorating for Christmas . I would tease my Mom and tell her not to stand still or he would decorate her. This year my Husband and I won't be doing much decorating. We will be moving between Christmas and New Years,so we'll just put a tree up in the house and maybe a Nativity scene in our front window.
 
Hi,an awesome video,thanks for sharing. I hope your neighbors and others who come by your street appreciate all the hard work you&hubby do every yr. I assume the lights are all LED,hope your electric bill isn't too bad. Sue
 
To answer a few, we somehow manage to store it all here, have storage above the gar. ceiling, this yr. much of our display are LED's and we sold a lot of our old lights and our old nativity etc. we never cared about the power bill, only about keeping it all on and not knocking lights off. And yes our neighbors love it and there are 4 homes around our cul de sac all lit up as well, not as much as ours but still pretty.
We will do this as long as we are able but we are old, Dh will be 80 soon, I am 73. We had a little time to help our neighbors as well, Dh has our gar. like Santa's workshop fixes all non working lights or display items for the neighbors.
 
Wow Aputernut, that's quite an elaborate display, VERY nice! You really get into the Christmas spirit, I bet you have a lot of people stopping and taking pictures of your house. Around mid-December I playfully whine to my husband that I have to put up that darn tree again. I plug in my little ceramic tree and that's it for the season, I put the cards I receive around it and that's all the decorating I care to do these days.

That really is some display, I used to do a tree indoors,
now I put a little light shaped like holly in the window.

Aputernut, that is an amazing and beautiful display! I'm astounded at all the work you and your hubby put in to decorating.
It is a grand sight for your neighbous and others who come to view.
