Talking, visitors on my profile page not talking to me

Just for the hell of it I checked my profile and noticed it had a 106 views. Which leads me to wonder why no one said hi.
 

Hi Jane, most of us talk to each other here on the forum, not on our profile pages. How is your daughter doing, have you found any help for her in your area of Washington?

I didn't mean for anyone to talk to me there. I meant on the forums,etc.

Trying to find a naturapathic doctor since that is what she wants,need to find one who will except her health insurance. She is getting worse.We find answers to problems and she either makes up new ones or goes back to old ones.Our life is a mess,very hard to keep going.
 

Sorry to hear that Jane, I was hoping she'd be a little bit better by now, but I see you haven't found any professional help for her germ phobia. I didn't think that any naturopathic doctors accepted typical health insurance, I'd be surprised if they did. I always thought you had to pay out of pocket for any medical treatment that was not traditional. I do think that places like Kaiser may have some coverage for chiropractic or theraputic massage, but I didn't think it went much further than that. What kind of health insurance does she have?

I wrote to this company that gives lists of those kinds of doctors,I was asking for one in our area,plus if the took health insurance. I will let you know how that turns out.

You're smart to avoid the pills Jane, unless absolutely necessary.....too many bad side effects. Things are fine by me, just catching up on some housework and spending time with my husband, puppy and cat. Luckily none of us have any bad health issues, I'm grateful for that.

Unfortunately, it is extremely hard to find one who is covered by conventional insurance. My mother and sister went to naturopaths for quite a while and everything was strictly out-of-pocket. I know there was one here in my town who was a MD but had leanings toward alternative medicine. Maybe you could find someone like that?

Edited: Have you looked into Heart of Wellness in Olympia? It looks like they accept quite a few insurance policies for some of their treatments.

That's because you're clicking on their username instead of the little blue "last post" arrow to the right of it.

I think that box, which shows how many people have checked you out, is kind of creepy. I don't care, who checks me out. I just don't need to know who they are. What information is gotten when somebody checks your profile?
