If my husband could, he’d eat coconut shrimp everyday. We were on a 10 day cruise a few years ago and for 9of those days he had coconut shrimp as his afternoon snack.

Our casino serves coconut shrimp at a very good price with a hot sauce I can't duplicate.

That's my choice and of course it's nice with a beer.

I have made it at home but it's just not the same as someone just serving it to you. You need a treat once in awhile and not having to wash dishes and clean up.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I think coconut shrimp is awful. Somehow the sweet-ish coconut just doesn't work with shrimp, so y'all can have mine.

Ah but the hot sauce dip offsets the Swedish but they use unsweetened coconut, Send it over.

Did you ever cook raw shrimp. It's greyish and turns pink as you cook it. It's getting awfully expensive at the supermarket.

I live on the Gulf Coast, so we have shrimp and seafood quite often. I made a low country boil with cajun spices about a week ago.

Coconut shrimp is yummy. If you are ever down around Key West, try some Conch fritters.
