Does Your Barber Or Hairdresser Have This?

While getting my hair cut last Tuesday, I was talking to my barber, same one I've been using since we moved here in 2009, about the two shootings that happened in this city on Sunday night and Monday afternoon.

On Sunday night, an armed Security Guard, hired by the business owner, shot and killed two armed robbers at a Internet Café. The third robber got away in the vehicle they drove there.

On Monday afternoon, a homeowner was able to get to his gun, during a "home invasion" and shot and killed one masked robber, but the other one, who was upstairs, jumped out of a window and took off.

So, the barber and I were talking some about this. Next thing I know, he opens up a small wooden storage box, next to his mirror, and there was laying a 9mm handgun, clip loaded with hollow point bullets. The barber told me what the clip was loaded with.. I said "good". IOW, don't mess with my barber or his shop!

Because he KNOWS me. Don't know how long he's had it, but another barber in the shop, who now has his own shop, carried a 9mm under his barber smock and showed me the gun in the holster.
We had a boat mechanic, who owned the shop he worked in, showed me his 9mm he kept under the front seat of his truck. Obviously he took out the loaded clip. "Nice gun" is what I said.

Not a gun enthusiast? My wife has a two handguns and a rifle and can shoot all three. I shoot one of the handguns.

On the contrary Cody...I am a very good shot...I have my own guns, for Target shooting on the range

however in this county, aside from the Police , firearms for personal use other than for shooting Game , or Target shooting are illegal ( and we have to be vetted very well before being granted a fire-arms licence)

Absolutely not that way here. You wouldn't believe how many people here and in the entire U.S. have a Concealed Weapons Permit. Many, many have a gun in their vehicle as well as at home.

ha...I'm not so much of a girly girl where that's concerned tbh.. if only I could handle my hairdryer and my straightener as well as I do my hand gun.. ..

I wouldn't mind if my hairdresser did, they would probably have a concealed carry I'd imagine.

I can say with absolute certainty that where I live barbers and hairdressers have no need of firearms at work.
They do have an armory of very pointy scissors though.
