Things like this happening make me not want to eat out...

If you ever watch that show with Gordon Ramsey, "Kitchen Nightmares", you would never eat out again. Lots of nasty stuff going on behind the scenes, from poor hygiene, to mold and rot, rotting food, to rodents dead and alive...don't know how some of these people can sleep at night running a business the way they do. And it's not just the cheap restaurants in the bad neighborhoods, it's also the high priced ones.

Be VERY kind and friendly with the wait staff ! One never knows what they might do to your food

once they head back to the kitchen. My Mom said they might spit in your soup. Or WORSE !

One other thing.... I know, I KNOW that you have every right to have your food JUST as you like it. BUT...

If you're ultra picky....be careful about sending things back! This means that the wait staff is going to bring your food TWICE !

...and they won't like that. And I don't care if you're the worlds' biggest tipper...they still won't like it....

...and you STILL won't know what will happen to your food in the meantime.

So much for getting another peeperoni pie at Pizza Hut ... :uncomfortableness:

I think I'm going to start making my own - cheaper and better quality.

Davey, Have you tried? I've been allowed twice. My granddaughter is a manager of a Papa Joe's. She told me that it only happens every once in,a while, and they would rather let you have a peek than loose your business, or have a custom giving out bad PR concerning their restaurant. The law is not always around.

Moooooon River, wider than a mile ...

See Niagara when it's wet with rain ...

Take me 'cross the river,
Take me 'cross the water ...

... gotta' go yet? :devilish:

Im guessing each state has different rule about entering the kitchen, most restaurants have a sign at the kitchen door.DO NOT ENTER.
If I owned a restaurant I would not allow it,in most restaurants with the cooks so busy and waitresses running in and out there is going to stuff falling on the floor and being so rushed they just pushed under the counter to be cleaned up later. BUT patrons saw this stuff on the floor, your first reaction would be "Thats disgusting,Im not coming back here again to eat."
