This made me feel better;
I keep feeling it's a trick. Either way this is very historic.
As R/R said......."I'm choosing to be optimistic, at least for now."
But I do remember from history class & my parents, that there were diplomats from Japan in secretary Stinson's office , when they attacked Pearl Harbor...
That is likely correct. Almost all Japanese officials were desperately trying to prevent a war that they knew they couldn't win. Roosevelt forced them into war through his embargo on scrap metal and oil, critical materials for their industrial economy which they lacked. Former President Herbert Hoover wrote a brilliant exposition of Roosevelt's actions to foment war.As R/R said......."I'm choosing to be optimistic, at least for now."

I wonder if this could have anything at all to do with the US dropping out of the TPP?IMO Kim Jong-un is being used by the Chinese to create this new friendship with S. Korea and the United States as part of a long-range effort to reduce our military presence on the Korean Peninsula.
We'll see!
i wonder if this could have anything at all to do with the us dropping out of the tpp?
Just a random thought. So far no one has mentioned it, so i guess not. Understanding the tpp is above my pay grade.
I'm sorry, rgp. I usually try to avoid abbreviations/acronyms.tpp ?
