While surfing the net, I came across this bit of insanity. I , of course, knew that dating has become a dangerous activity for men in recent years but this tops the cake for nuttiness.

It seems that feminists have dug themselves into a new all-time low.:wow:

I'd prefer to discuss other stuff BUT I run across a lot of this cr*p. Even though I'm well out of the dating game, I do feel sorry for the younger guys.

Good, God ! No wonder so many guys are choosing to abandon any thoughts of dating.

While you dislike all women, and do not seem to realize the majority who use the term 'feminists' are not like this, it's scary to see the 'radical fringe' is in the younger generations.. I've only met two such individuals, ever, and it was not a pleasant experience. While it's a term I personally do not use, it does seem a word the radicals consider a compliment is a good description..

I think this item leaves too many questions unanswered to be able to come up with any conclusions. For instance,

Does she know the guy, or is he a complete stranger who came up to her on the street?

Is she over 18?

Is the guy over 18?

All she says about him is that he's "quiet ugly," which shows that

1. she doesn't know how to spell, and
2. she is extremely immature.

I suspect that she is a teenage kid. And going to the police would be an appropriate reaction if the guy is about 45, not if he is also a teenager. Maybe he was just trying to be friendly, and was awkward in moving too fast.

I don't think this is a feminist matter at all. It's a very poorly worded note, which raises more questions than it answers.

Difficult to know exactly what you are trying to say, JaniceM.

I am aware that there is much denial of feminist ideology, but I am also aware that there is one heck of a lot of anti-men propaganda within the feminist junta.

Like this now deceased leader of The National Organization of Women. (N.O.W.) 32149229_1281812018588708_2375658437049581568_n.jpg

Rather difficult to deny, that there is wide-spread hated of men, when one of top leaders of N.O.W. makes such remarks.

Traveler, do you think that's true even if the girl is about 13, and the guy is in his 40's? Do you think she is showing a psychopathic hatred of men by reporting him in that case?

Obviously, if the guy is 13 and the female writing this is in her 40's, then she is indeed nuts.

Not enough information here to draw any conclusions.

To clarify: individuals such as the girls in the first post, and the individual in this other image, kinda make me sick to my stomach.

And what if they are all in their 20's ? Hmm ? I'm pretty sure if the 1st girl was under-age we would have read exactly that. Sorry, Sunny, but what we see (in that text exchange) is just one example, out of millions, of one woman speaking to another woman.

Personally, I see no difference between what we read in that text exchange, and the use of the "N' word and talk of lynching. There can never be any possible excuse.

Andrea Dworkin was a self-avowed radical who died 13 years ago. Hardly current. Who knows what the background is for the "Female Advice" column - the entire thing may be a fabrication of a young girl's imagination - but most would agree that the Internet is a pit of all manner of hateful remarks.

One thing is for sure though, for every verifiable male-loathing remark you find there will be at least twenty misogynistic references, far more if you choose to reference the words of those who are no longer among the living.

If you prefer, I can cite quotes from women are active today. "The more famous I become, the more power I have to hurt men". Sharon Stone

As an interesting aside, I had my eyes opened, to the true nature of feminism, by two women, Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin. Both of whom I admire greatly.

Too much "crazy" out there these days, especially on the net. While there are legitimate reasons for some extreme feelings...sexual abuse is rampant, some on both sides treat the other gender terribly, etc., a well-adjusted person has to get some counseling if they "go over the edge" into such extreme hatred and rage. We have to all get along.

Neither Ann Coulter nor Michelle Malkin would have a public voice today had it not been for the path cleared by generations of feminists (and the men who supported their cause).

What has that to do with the true nature of feminism ?

Both Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin got where they are by being brilliant and not because anyone "gave" them anything.

I’m not sure how you just ‘run into this cr*p’ and if you prefer to discuss other stuff why not do that then?

I go online often and I never just ‘run into this stuff.’ You have to be consciously looking for the most extreme ‘feminists’ you can find and are dishing it out like this is an average interaction between men and women, which most know isn’t an honest reflection of what’s actually going on.’

Difficult to know exactly what you are trying to say, JaniceM.

I’m a feminist and can’t relate to this ‘hating men’ attitude at all. I happen to like everything about men; the way they look, sound, smell, think and feel. I understand not all men are made equal. Some are complete jerks but I’m intelligent enough to know the difference.

Surely you are intelligent enough to understand that these women are the extreme minority and if you really dislike them so much why research all this if it bothers you ?

All right, for the sake of argument let's say they are both in their 20's. Although I do think the ages of both people in this scenario would be important in making any decision.

It's still difficult to judge anyone without seeing (or hearing about) the subtleties. Was he acting like a normal, respectful, polite guy? Did they know each other, say, from work? Did he simply ask her out for a cup of coffee or dinner, in a normally polite way? If so, then I would say she is crazy. Her reaction is so far over the top that it's almost a joke. Although I'm sure not a joke if some innocent guy is getting arrested just for that.

But!!! There are so many unknowns here. Do they have a previous history? Does he enjoy making off-color remarks when she is around, which she has been ignoring? Is he leering at her suggestively when issuing his invitation? I think even then, calling the police is kind of ridiculous, but she'd certainly be right in telling the jerk to get lost.

As I've said several times already, we simply don't know enough. The writing is so bad, even for a texter, that she sounds like a very young, poorly educated kid. She may have learned about Bill Cosby and decided that every man is the same as him. Or on the other hand, she could actually be the victim of abuse, whose overreaction is understandable.

No one wanting to judge fairly could possibly make a decision based on the tiny amount of information given to us here.

I thought the same as Sunny, info is lacking. Basing advice on nothing more than the man being "quiet" ugly made me laugh. I'm trying to envision what loud ugly would look like.

Would the advice for loud ugly be worded even stronger?

That has nothing to do with feminists, but more to do with ignorance. When that moron learns spelling and grammar I will be more interested in what she has to say... or not.

Sunny, look again at the 2nd woman speaking. She is not asking all the questions you are asking. She just makes a blanket condemnation of the poor guy who just wants a date.

You can make up all kinds of situations by suggesting this or that, (maybe he was carrying a machete ?) but the 1st girl mentions ONLY that he is "ugly". If there had been anything beyond the terrible crime of being ugly, I'm sure she would have said so.

I say again, he was just asking for a date and now it looks like some moon-bat called the cops on him. This is what the world has come to. All because of the feminist obsession with "sexual harassment". Asking for a date is now "sexual harassment". My, God.
